AAA package Question

I just recent my information from AAA today for my Jan. trip, but they do not indicate non-smoking room. Is this usually included on the initial paperwork sent by AAA? Should I wait for new paperwork before signing anything that indicates our room is non-smoking?

When I received my initial confirmation from AAA, it did not list my requests (connecting rooms, non-smoking, Toy Story). I contacted my TA and she sent me a more detailed report with the requests noted.

My guess is that two computer systems are in play here. The TA enters your requests into the Disney system to book the package. Then he enters the package into the AAA computer system for internal tracking. That's the confirmation I received, the AAA printout.

When I was in the AAA office, I noticed the TA had printouts from Disney for each package as well. If you ask for a more detailed printout, your AAA TA should be able to send one to you.

Disney will usually not guarantee a non smoking room unless there is a medical reason for having the non smoking room. But it is good to have it on the reservation. But remember, Disney considers it just a request.

Has anyone ever not ended up with a non-smoking room that they requested? I can't imagine being in a "smoking" room for a week. Our vacation would certainly be less than pleasant if that happens.

I just booked a room with a non-smoking room requested. My son has allergies/asthma - who do I need to tell? The AAA TA or the resort when I check in? :confused3 Thanks! By the way, are all Disney restaurants non-smoking? I thought I read that somewhere, but maybe it was late at night and I was dreaming...

I talked with my AAA rep. about this and she told me that I shouldn't worry about it. They have very few smoking rooms at all resorts.

All Disney restaurants are non-smoking.
