AAA package discount

I am thinking of joining AAA for the discount, and I have already learned (from the DIS!) that I can get 15% off rack rates at deluxe resorts in value season. Is the 15% discount good for the park tickets as well? I am also interested if the discount is applicable to MYW with dining.

No. AAA does sell discounted tickets, but it’s about 5% off, and they may or may not have all the various combinations available.

And yes, your MYW package with your AAA room discount can be booked to include the Disney Dining Plan, at a never-discounted cost of $38.99 per adult per night and $10.99 per child (3-9) per night.

Thanks for the reply! Will the MYW package (not including dining) be discounted 15%, or just the room part of it? I am trying to figure out of booking a package is worth it for me.

Only the room part will be discounted. If you aren't getting the dining plan there is no real need to book a package. As well if you aren't interested in the extra aaa little things that go with a aaa booking/package, you can then book that room only straight through disney. aaa packages do have to be booked through aaa though. Then you can purchase you tickets seperately using the aaa discounted tickets (as previous poster said they can be discounted 5% but only some tickets will be available, and some offices may not offer them at all), or another discounter such as ticketmania or undercovertourist.com. Remember that while prices at ticketmania and undercovertourist will look similar or higher than disney's advance purchase prices, they already include taxes/shipping which disney's dont. This often ends up in a decent savings over disney.

I just ran the numbers for a 10 day adult ticket with hopper, wp, no exp and found it to be a $25 savings with the regular undercovertourist.com prices.
