What would you do? We're going the week after Thanksgiving, and I know from my obsessive DIS habit and my Mousesavers newsletters that there is usually a code released for that time of year, but it won't come out until mid-late August at the earliest. So do I book with AAA to get the guaranteed discount but have to rely on the AAA agent to apply the code when it comes out, or do I book it myself, banking on that code, because I know I'll be up at 6:30 to apply it at the first possible moment?
My concern, obsessive as it may be, is that the AAA agent I've been in contact with to get quotes usually takes a couple days to get back to me. I don't know that I want to rely on her to apply a code because it might well be unavailable for our top choices (Poly GV or WL bunkbed WV) by the time we connect. I, on the other hand, am a SAHM ith an internet addiction - I know I'll be aware of the code and ready to apply it ASAP.
Is it really much of a risk to book at rack rate now and wait for the code, knowing that there has been a code for our dates for the last few years? DH is worried that we'll get stuck paying rack rates, but I don't think there is much chance of that at such a slow time of the year. Even if no code comes out, the AAA rate might well be available later on, right?
