AAA or discount codes

I plan on DW last week of April and am going to go ahead and book room using AAA discount. Does anyone know if and when they released new discounts, if they are better then AAA will I be able to switch reservations over to better rates??? Thanks for any information!!!

You will be able to switch as long as the code is still available for your resort (we have done it a couple of times before). And, the codes are usually better than AAA.

AAA is usually 10-15%
Code is usually 30-40%

off rack rates

we booked during peak season, and with the code, got the value season rate.

How do I book through AAA, my mom is a member and is going with us but I am the one doing all the planning. Is there a link to the current discounted rate. We are staying at a value resort. Thanks!

You can book a AAA rate directly with CRO. Just tell them that it is AAA and see what they have available. I do not think you need the AAA card number. Use the following 1-800 numbers to save your $ for your trip:

I booked a AAA rate for November with CRO. I was curious about rates too and discovered that you can book rooms through our regional AAA website. I just entered our trip information into the site to get an idea of the rates.

Also, I was asked for my card number when I made the reservation. They did not ask me for the name on the card though. So I suspect you could just get the number from your mother's card.

I just made my reservation for the Poly with the AAA rate and was asked nothing about my number. I had it all ready just in case but there was no need. Poly here we come.

I'm hoping for a better code rate at some point but at least we got a bit of a discount (15%) for now.

I'm a little confused. What do you mean by code? I've been working with AAA and found a good rate. Do their rates change frequently?

A "code" is a discount rate that is available to everyone or sometimes just to specific markets (eg. Annual Pass Holders, Florida residents, Canadian residents, etc). There are usually codes available to everyone so keep an eye on this Board and/or Mousesavers for the latest news. The discount you get with a code is usually much better than the AAA rate.
