AAA membership worth it?

I can get a AAA membership for $50 (first year). What kind of rates could I get for a July trip if I did this? Looking to stay at a Universal hotel so we would have the express passes. Also looking to by the 2 park 7 day $81 tickets. We have five people (Dad,mom, 14, 11, 8) so it would be 4 adults and 1 child.

i pay $40 for the chgo area AAA.

you get a good discount for loews on site hotels.

with AAA, you get 10% discount on food, merch in the parks and city walk.

you also get a good 15% off of hotels when traveling in the usa.
you can also get 15% discounts when you order off their site for target.com and other places.

you get free unlock the car service. which i have used more than one time.
close the car door with keys in the car......

towing, fix a flat, road service will come out and give you gas if you run out of gas.....


The AAA discounts are good for a lot more things than just UO stays.

Lets see I have already about $500.00 of just hotels and even more to save when we use it on food and merchandise.
so yes I think its worth it and by the way yours is $50.00 I had to pay $59.00 but I think its well worth it

I LOVE my AAA!

you can go to www.aaa.com and enter your zip code, then just look at all of the discounts. Be sure to click on the "see more rooms and rates" , the AAA rates arent always the cheapest. You do not have to log in with membership info to see the prices/discounts. However, you can not book aaa until you have a membership. That should give you a good idea if it will be worth it for you.

I have a car service that comes with my cell phone. I would be buying AAA just for discounts.

I heard that gas is going to $5 today. I was hoping that the theme parks would be giving really good rates to keep people coming. Guess it does not work that way.
