I just wanted to report that I just booked my trip for 2007 and found that my AAA membership reduced the rate for the Portofino from $269 to $215 during the Value season.

I am hoping that they drop them for all of Feb.

What do you mean? Do they lower AAA prices after they have been released? I would love to see mine for the end of June go lower!

LuvOrlando,
Don't forget to take the AAA card with you everywhere. It is good for 10-15% off in almost every store and restaurant, at both parks and Citywalk.

I learned about the AAA discount on these boards and it was wonderful. Always present it when you are at the checkout counter. Even some of the drink stands in the parks gave us a discount. Even if you are only getting a $3.50 lemonade slushie - the $.35 discount will add up over the week!

Seriously, we saved lots on the souveniers purchases and the meals as these were more than $3.50. :rotfl:

Our trip made us fall in love with AAA and we will always have an active membership. :)

They most definitely do! It may not happen, but it has happened a lot in the past. Just keep watching and if the price goes down, call and have your rate changed. Rates change a lot at Universal.

it gets better than that.......check out the AAA website.
you can also get discounts on some places when you order on line.

think target was on the list once before for that special.

I didn't know that! In all these years I never knew that I should have been calling back to check if the AAA rates went down. I'm thrilled you guys shared this information. Thanks :wave2:

Does anyone know how far in advance AAA rates are released? We're looking for Nov. 2007. So far only RPR has even reg. prices on their website. HRH and PB don't list any prices at all. thanks! :goodvibes
