AAA Drink Mugs??

Does anyone know if the AAA drink mugs have handles? Trying to decide how to carry them around the parks.

We booked our trip for next month with AAA, and they're giving us mugs that can be filled free at different locations in the parks and at the hotels. Hoping it will save a little $$ at least.
But I was trying to see if I could use a strap (like you would for a water bottle) or something like that, to haul them around, or if I'd need my backpack.

yes they have handles! this year they have the dream scene, I personally like last years better, it had a photo of the castle with the animated charactered added to it. and FYI they do not count how many times you refill your mug. .

I am going in two weeks and AAA said I pick up the mug at the front desk, however I had a friend that just got back and when they went to get their mug Disney knew nothing about it (or at least the person at the desk). Anyone know what the deal is?

I was told they'd be at the front desk, but I think there's a AAA "office"/booth in Downtown Disney also....I guess we can check with them if the front desk doesn't have them.
But I think the pin and lanyard, we picked up at one of the stores in the park.

When we were there in December with our AAA package, we didn't get mugs, but we picked up our pin/lanyard at the pin trading center in DTD near the monorail station... Boy, I sure wish that the mugs would have been offered back then...

if you walk from DH towards the monorail, as soon as you cross the "street" there is a bakery on the right, walk towards that and go to the side of the building, that is where the AAA office is and that is where we picked up our cups. .. they are the nicest people in there!

the lanyards you can pick up by the monorail or by the what I call the buzz lightyear shop, what you have to walk through after riding the buzz ride.

Ok heres the deal , you need to book a package
you get coupons for the mugs
the places to pick them up are pizza port and Rancho something at DL and famers market at CA
they don't keep track of refills and if it is a self serve beverage you can use it, one night we filled up with hot chocolate at rancho.
Our mugs 3 weeks ago had a castle scene with Mickey and Minnie, very cute! I have washed them in the diswasher here at home and they are very sturdy.

Hi,
Just an FYI: You had to have booked your pkg from Jan 3 - Jan 31th. For the last several years it has been a deal in Jan for AAA through WDTC.
Last travel date is in late April.

I used to carry a simular mug are when I was in college. I used a cheap carribener (sp) to clip it to my backpack strap. It worked great. I would also stuff a dry napkin in it and that would catch all the sticky drips.

On another note. WWS used to sell a refillable mug. Is that still true?
