AAA Discounts

How much is this discount and is it just for hotel or can I get discount park tickets as well? I'm trying to figure out if its worth the $49 bucks to join AAA. I've went to the hotel site and select AAA but it doesn't show a rate, is there a trick to seeing what they are?

The only way to get the AAA rate from Universal is by calling the reservation number. Those rates aren't available on their website. You can get an AAA rate from AAA's website but I don't know if those are at the same rate you can get by calling the Universal reservation number. There are a limited number of rooms available at the AAA rate. You can call and book the AAA rate prior to joining AAA, but you will need to show your card at check-in.

I suggest getting the AAA membership. Not only will it save you money on your hotel room, but you can use it for discounts at both parks and at Citywalk when purchasing souveniers or food at most places!

As for discounted park tickets, you could purchase them from your local AAA office, once you joined. I believe that AAA's website shows the prices for park tickets.

You can call the hotel and ask for the AAA rate for the time of your stay. I first booked with my AAA membership, then changed it to the stay more save more rate. It was alittle cheaper then AAA. I think the AAA membership is worth the $. You get discounts at target dot com as well as other stores wien you show your membership card.
