Hello there... I am going t WDW for the first time next month. I am wondering if there are any dining or shopping discounts offered inside the park or resorts. Thanks!

I have been doing a little bit of research on this myself, but am a little confused on which places give discounts just because you are an AAA member and which places only give you a discount if you booked a package through AAA and have the AAA Diamond discount card.

There aren't many.. the casual dining restaurants at Swan & Dolphin offer AAA discounts as does Ghiradelli's in DTD. None of the stores participate in a AAA discount.

There are some restaurants that offer 10% off when paying with a Disney Visa. Some I seem to remember are Biergarten, Captain's Grille, Sanaa, and Boma. The complete list is on the Disney Visa website.

a long time ago they gave a discount when renting boats but not sure if that is still true - we would not have known that if the guy renting hadn't asked if we were aaa members - so anywhere we go we just ask if they give either a military discount or aaa discount.

I only know of 10% or 15% off at Earl of Sandwich can't remember which one it is.
It's 15%. It's a better discount than the DVC member, AP discount or the Disney Visa discount, which are only 10%

This is awesome! We have lots of Disney rewards and were going to use them for meals at Boma, Trails End and CP. Boma and Trails End give you the 10% and it says you can pay with your rewards card too! Thanks so much. This will save a family of 7 quite a bit!

Thanks so much for this too! We eat at Earl every trip and have never known this.

I know you specifically asked about dining and shopping discounts, but many people don't know that Disney offers AAA discounts on their tours. Some of these tours are quite pricey, and you can save a substantial amount of money if you're a AAA member. We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour last year, and our AAA savings made quite a difference on the cost.
