AAA Discounts for Australian Citizens

Hi all, we're hoping someone can help us with some advice.

We're planning our first trip to WDW for May 2 - May 10, 2005. We have booked at normal rack rates. From what I have read on these forums there are discounts for AAA members. Now as we're from Australia we are not AAA Members but we are members with our Australian Automobile Club which has linked specials with AAA.

So the USA link takes us to the AAA site, so we are eligible for any discounts AAA members can get.

So with our booking do we just say we are AAA Members or do we need some discount code?

Any help would be appreciated as this is our first trip to WDW and we want it to go flawlessly.

You should be able to just tell them you have AAA (discounts subject to availability). They might ask for the membership # off your card, but I would definitely take the card to show at check-in if asked. If you're worried about it, you could also print the web pages showing the affiliation. The little card logo on the RACV's site has the Show Your Card and Save emblem, so that should be sufficient.

You shouldn't have to give any code. Unless Disney changes things when the Magic Your Way packages start on January 2.

Sorry forgot to ask, what sought of discount can we expect at POP Century if we ask for the AAA discount?

It depends on when you are going.

A 10% discount will do us nicely. Hopefully a even better code may be released some time soon.
