I saved about $200 with booking a AAA package, but they are far more inflexible than booking with Disney directly....

Yes you can because I just did that. I got a great deal-well, still expensive but I saved $40 a night using my AAA discount. They told me just to make sure I have my card at check in because they will ask for it.

Me too. I saved about $42 per night just last week on a room-only reservations through Disney. You also get other small perks there when you use your AAA card.
