AAA discount

Booked a trip with a 6 night stay at Coronado Springs in April. Later discovered that I could get a room discount through AAA. Had my friend at AAA call to rebook through AAA and was told that since it was less than 45 days and my package was paid I could not avail myself of the discount or the AAA privileges associated with it. Does anyone know if there may be some way to convince the right person to stretch the booking rules for a frequent visitor.

I got my room only AAA discount directly through CRO and not an AAA office. Have you tried calling CRO? Good luck!

Since you're booked with a package, there really isn't much that can be done inside that 45-day mark. If you want to cancel the package and re-book your room-only at the AAA rate, you will pay the cancellation fee. Plus, you run the risk of no AAA rooms being available at CSR for your dates (a very BIG possibility). At this point, you're probably out of luck.
