AAA discount

I hope this is the right place to post this...

Does anyone know if you have to go through AAA directly to get a AAA discount? Or can you book through Disney and use your discount?

I got our AAA discount (20 % AT FW ) thru Disney, depending on what you are trying to get, room-package and season. AAA does have a certain amount of rooms reserved, I would call Disney first...

You can do it either way. I just booked through AAA to get their extra perks besides the discount that you don't get if you just call Disney.

You can book a room only directly with Disney but if you want a package you have to go thru AAA.

Other than the one mentioned, the ability to book a package, I have found none. Maybe the parking pass. AAA is definitely the thing to have, though. Its money well spent. I also have my doubts about a AAA discount for a package..

You get the Diamond Discount card which offers discounts at different stores, restaurants, and on tours and golf all around WDW, and the parking voucher

What are your doubts, they are given. I always do a breakdown and there has never been an issue for us.

I forgot about that one, since we never do it since we have no children, but you don't have to book the dining plan to get that, it comes with all packages through AAA.
