AAA discount question

My dh and I booked a bounceback for SSR at the end of August. We got a 2 bedroom villa and there are five of us traveling. My dsis, her husband, their 2 children and dsis father in law were also going to go and get rooms together somewhere. I invited my father and step mom to go with us as we had room in our villa. Well my dsis husband and father in law decided that they did not want to go. My dad would prefer to have my sister and her kids come with us as money is tight for her. My father and his wife haven't fully decided if they want to come as they are planning a cruise to Alaska.
My question is how does the AAA discount work? Is it released at different times for different travel dates or can you get a discount anytime if rooms are available? Also what is the typical discount through AAA? My step mom has AAA. We are going to Disney the last week in August.

Hi, the posted discounts are 20% for values and 15% for moderates and Deluxe resorts. My understanding is that they can book any room as long as Disney has that room available. Plus, right now AAA (at least in New England) is having a their January Disney Sale and there are bonuses available. There are also some perks in addition to the standard MYW package bonuses when booked through AAA.

There is a limited number of rooms at each resort set aside for AAA discounts. I suggest you call asap and see whats available. Just because theres a room available doesnt mean its available with the AAA discount
