Has anyone used AAA to buy the Disney package's or book a room only? We are thinking of planning a really last minute trip at the end of this month. I won't have an exact date until about 5-7 days from the trip. Therefore, I was thinking of going right to the AAA. I was just wondering how anyone found their prices to be.

I booked a room at por for oct and I did it through AAA at the WDW phone number. I originally went through my local AAA, but found I can do much better on my own booking everything separate. I saved about $250 on the room reservation. I booked my flight directly through Delta. I am also purchasing my park hopper tickets by themselves due to the fact that I only need a 5 day hopper instead of a pass for every day I am there. Have a good time.

I to canceled my reservations trough AAA. Debra is right we saved even more by booking the whole trip online. And if you do some surfing you can find some great last minute deals on line. the real trick, I think will be the air. If you are in a bind for time AAA is not that bad. Good luck

We checked out AAA prices (for foom only) and found that we would save money by booking the resort on our own. Not sure how much money we saved.

I can I book a AAA rate online through Disney website. This would save me so much time because I stay on the computer all the time.

It would be quick and easy for me.

We also planned a last minute trip for the end of March. First I looked online at Travelocity and then I checked AAA. I was there for 3 hours trying to work through everything and trying to save money by switching flights and days. Then this morning before I actually went to put the trip on my credit card I got an email from Travelocity and when I checked our trip again it was cheaper online. AAA had us 7 days 6 nights at the GF for $7500 with airfare for 3 with the silver package. I ended up with 9 days 8 nights for $7200 still with the silver package.
The airfare was the pricey thing I think. When I showed her a flight roundtrip for $125 each she booked us on that direct flight and it saved us $1200 and two layovers, practically two days of travel time that we can now spend at the park. The only thing was she couldn’t get the two extra nights with the AAA discount and it would have been $8000 and with two extra nights and no park passes. It was so confusing. The lady was really nice. She tried to help us but I saved more money online and got a better deal.
You just have to keep checking online. AAA can maybe save on a trip planned in advance but if you have time I found it better to search online.

We are going in May and AAA quoted a price of around $4400 for 7 nights. I started looking over the internet and found mouseketrips.com showed them my rate and they beat it by over $1000 thats alot just go to thier internet sight and fill out the required forms. They were very helpful, and believe me I asked them alot of questions. Give it a try and see if you save. If not PM me please.
