AAA discount for March only 5%...that stinks!

Have checked online and with Disney CM's. Trying to book just three nights at CBR March 13-16...standard room rate 214, AAA rate 204. That's terrible! I don't ever remember getting anything less than 10-15%, do you?
So far, no other discounts apply for my dates. I get PIN codes quite frequently, so I am hoping for one.

I've gone twice in mid march and both times the AAA rate was 15%. 5% isn't worth enough to even buy the AAA membership for me!

Just booked two nights at Wilderness Lodge for Mar 22-23 and got AAA 10%

Well, that's better, but not the 15-20 I was expecting for moderates. Actually got a PIN code yesterday in the mail, but not for my dates, all for great rates in January ($115 for moderates!) Bummer....still waiting.

I got a pin code for March, but it was only good for 10%. I really think that may be the best we can do for mid March, unless their bookings stay low for that time.

Booked 6 day package for 2br. villa @ OKW 2/29 thru 3/6/ 2012 and got 25% off through AAA. Total savings $1206.00. Not bad till something better comes along

5% isn't worth it at all. Unless of course you are def going and no other discount at all comes along...then I guess 5% is better than nothing.

I can't imagine AAA not being at least 10%. Have you check to see rates or discounts for the Swan and Dolphin for that time?

Many times when I've checked AAA rates, it's been 5%. In 2006 AAA saved us a substantial amount of money, I can't remember the exact amount but it was somewhere around $1000. Since then it's been absolutely pathetic, but better than nothing, I suppose.

Every time I've used the AAA discount, it's been 15 or 20% on the room portion. (Last time was in October 2011 - 15% off at AKL.)

Maybe they've reduced it for moderates?

I got 20% for POR Jan 2012, but then AP rates came out and are better, so I switched to WL with 40%.

I think the low % has more to do with it being Spring Break time. I don't go to WDW during high seasons, so don't know. Everything is higher during Spring Break times, airfare, car rentals, hotels, etc. I had to go to Ft. Lauderdale once during that time of year(Family emerg) and I was in sticker shock at how much more everything cost vs Aug or Jan.
