AAA Discount for Dec. 06?

I just called CRO to make a reservation for POFQ for Dec. 2006. I asked for AAA availability for Dec. 1 & 2. The CM told me there was no AAA availability for this time frame. Does that sound right? I thought AAA rates were out for all of 2006. Surely, there should be availability this far in advance? What gives?

Call back and ask again. I've had CM's assume there were no AAA rates so they don't look. They say no with such authority, that you just accept it. Try again.

I just wanted to see if you got it. I need AAA for 11/30 but have not called for it yet. I guess I need to.

In July, I booked the AAA rate for POFQ for 11-28 thru 12-8/06. I'd call them again.

Just to update--I had to call back three times! The first CM thought I was asking for AP rate and was very rude so I hung up and called back. The second CM didn't know the difference in a standard rate, water view rate, and king bed rate so I politely said I would call back. On the third try I discovered that I could not get a AAA rate on a king room, however, it was available for a standard room. I switched to that. It's sad that we know more than alot of the CM's!
