AAA discount during Easter week?

Has anyone ever been able to get a AAA discount during that week? Or do they block that week out of all discounts?

We used a AAA room discount in 2006 during easter week. And our first two days this trip, at the end of easter week are also with the AAA discount. I believe that it is only in Dec that there is a blackout of dates for the discount.

We orginally had the AAA discount during both Easter weeks, but then the 4/3 deal was released and we changed to that.

I had the discount last year.

I got the discount this year....if you want to call it that. $121.50/night for POP! Good Grief!!!!! (We are only stayng Friday and Saturday nights) It really irks me that the day we leave (Easter Sunday) the rate switches to $86/night for Sunday and then $68/night for midweek.

I should mention that I did have to call twice to get the discount. First CM I spoke to said no AAA discount---I made up my mind the next day that we were just going to stay at POP with/without discount and when I called back the CM gave me the 10% discount.
