Aaa Discount Disney Tickets

I purchased AAA discount Disney tickets at the AAA office. The new ticket I purchased is a 7 day Premium ticket. This ticket includes 5 visits to any combination of water parks/pleasure island/disney quest or WWsports.

Does anyone know if the visit day counts as a major theme park day?

That is 7 major park days and 5 minor park days...each visit counts separately.

You could go do the parks during the day and that would be one park day and that night go to pleasure island...that would be a minor park day leaving you with 6 and 4. Or you could skip the parks on a rainy day, go to Disney Quest during the day and PI at night...that would leave you with 7 major days and 3 minor days. The one thing you can't do is use two major park days on the same day.

A premium ticket includes park hopping...so one can go to all 4 major parks in the same day, and it counts as one day. The plus features are visits and not days.

Your tickets expire 14 days after first use, so it's probably worth it to pay $55 plus tax per ticket if you have leftover park days and/or 2 or more plus visits left.

Does it also make sense that your vacation can be extended by utilizing a visit when you do not access a major theme park. I did not buy the "does not expire" feature, so once started the ticket expires in 14 days.

Sure...you could alternate theme park days and water park/Disney Quest days....and get as many as 12 days out of a 7-day ticket. That assumes you do only one "plus" park per day.

The non-expiration can be aded to your tickets while you're at WDW, or you can do as you suggested and get more days out of a 7-day premium ticket.
