AAA discount - CM told me none available?

We are booked at POP in October. I just called WDW to apply my AAA discount as I didnt see where to do it when I booked online. She told me there were not any AAA discounts. Do I have to book thru AAA to get it?

AAA discounts are only available on a certain number of rooms just like any other discount at Disney. It sounds like the # of rooms has been reached and there are none available.

If there is availability, you can book a room only AAA discount through Disney directly, a travel agent or AAA. If you are looking for a package, you can only book through AAA to get the discount on the room portion. Package discounts are limited, just like room only discounts.

I called today about AAA discount also. We are staying at the Contemporary and the only availability they had with the AAA discount was club level! Yeah right! Discount or no discount WAY out of my price range!
