AAA Discount at the Fort

I booked our full hook up back in April and in late June signed up with AAA, which came in handy two weeks later when DD locked the keys in the car. So after reading these types of threads, I called WDW just to see what they had for AAA discount. Are the discounts for Full hook up rare? Or is it because we're going in 2011?, if so I should have played the lottery that day. So there was a discount available, and it took my daily rates from $61, $64 to $48, $51 for our stay 10/8-10/17.

Good for you!:dance3:

I feel like the lady in the Progressive Insurance commercials who is happy for others when they get a discount. The math works out to about a 20% discount. Hard to beat that.

I was checking for cabin rates during President's Week 2012 with my AAA rep, and she had a free dining offer if I took a Magic Your Way package (min of 2-day passes). I ran all the numbers compared to Disney's site, and it's definitely a good deal. I even think there is a bit of a discount on the lodging and tix, even with the free dining. I was surprised there would be anything like this available during the big school break.
So, if you are a AAA member, it might be worth checking rates through them, just in case.

Our early October trip qualified for a AAA discount of approximately 20% as well.... more than the AP discount we'd originally reserved with. This is for a preferred site. Of course, nada is available for our December trip. *sigh*.....we'll just keep calling weekly to see if anything pops up, a pincode, an AP or AAA discount would be nice!

AAA rates like this only work with packages. If you want to book a campsite only you have to make the reservation directly with WDW and hope you can get the AAA rate :confused3

Yesterday I booked campsite only for 4/1-4/13/12. After reading this thread I called back and was able to get the AAA discount on a Preferred campsite (nothing was available for Premium) we saved just over $300! :cool1:
