AAA Discount Amount

I am considering getting a AAA Membership. Can anyone advise how much of a discount I can expect? Any information about AAA and Disney will be appreciated.

The discount ranges from 10-20% depending on the dates and the resort. So the potential is for hundreds of dollars in savings, all for a $50 or so registration fee.

Check the AAA website.

If you've already booked a package, you'll have to turn your reservations over to an AAA travel agent, but that's easy enough to do.

We got 10% off a room only ressie at Beach Club using AAA. This is for regular season.

Here's a link to how much the discount is in different seasons. Just click on the season to see the dates. I know for value season, the value resorts are 20% off. I spent $60 on AAA membership and I saved $115 for 7 nights. AAA is good anyway for towing, running out of gas, dead battery, etc.

We love using AAA for our Disney trips. We pay $42 for one year membership and save hundreds every time we go. In Jan we saved over $300 on our resort and one park hopper ticket for DS. We have a terrific agent, she knows a lot. However, I do not use our AAA TA to make dining ressies. I prefer to do that myself, because I know what type of schedule works best for us, and if I do the dining ressies there's no back and forth phone calls between us. I'm better to make the judgement on time frames for our family, keeps me on top of it. Plus, the planning part is just as exciting for me as actually going We try to use AAA to our benefit each year when we go. We are able to drive (saves lots, not all can do that), we go during slow season, we like the end of Jan best, and that way we can stay deluxe, which DH prefers. We've only been using AAA for the last three years.
We've easily saved over a thousand dollars on our last 3 trips ('06,'07,'08) using AAA.

The price of a membership varies regionally.

The savings at WDW varies based on the time of year, as noted above. Anyone, Disney directly included, can book a room only reservation with a AAA discount, but AAA Travel is the only agency that can book a package with tickets and dining and still provide a discount on the room portion.
