i was just wondering something.....i have only had one experience w/ the pass & am curious about how it's supposed to work. i ordered 1 Disney park ticket online, will-call, & got a AAA parking pass to my surprise to be printed out. i was so excited ! i read the fine print & it didn't say that it was a voucher, but rather a pass w/ the date 2006 on the top, etc.
when i got to AK, our first park, i asked the attendant at the booth which lane i should go in & she said that my piece of paper was a voucher that should have been exchanged for a pass at a local AAA office & that i wouldn't be able to use it. as it turned out, i did use it at all 4 parks for the days to come but i can't really say that anyone really looked at it closely but they did see that it was a paper not a small pass.
my question is - was the AK attendant correct to say that i should have exchanged it for a valid pass? i ask now b/c i'm about to order another tix from AAA online & hope to get a 2007 parking pass & want to know if i need to allow time for a run to the local AAA office. i want to know if i really do need a pass - is it supposed to be a plastic card?
thanks!
