AAA Diamond Parking Pass

Do you have to book a WDW vacation package with AAA to get the AAA Diamond Parking Pass? Or will I be able to get one if I'm just purchasing park tickets. I'm planning on going to the AAA office to buy six 7 day base tickets next week. I'm not sure if I am able to get the parking pass as well.

I got mine by purchasing a park ticket. Just ask, maybe they will give you one. All they can say is you have to purchase a package. All agency's are different.

There are two offices very close to me. One will give them with tkt purchase (which is now where I go) and the other wants you to book pkg., so just depends.

I know where you're coming from. I've gone to several AAA offices in MA and have gotten very different answers to questions at each one. Maybe try an office out side of the boroughs.

Each office/region has its own restrictions on how the Diamond Pass can be distributed.

I was able to get the diamond parking pass in a Long Island AAA just buying tickets. I did ask for it.

Last April I bought 2 Adult 10 day park tickets at the Rockland Ma. AAA office and they gave me a AAA diamond parking pass, no problem. The Quincy office wouldn't give me the time of day, I'll never go back to that AAA office for anything.

I got one in Suffolk a few years ago without even asking. However, we rarely drive to the parks, so it did not do us much good.

No problem getting one here in Delaware with ticket purchase only. good luck. I would try other agencies.

NativeNYer..FYI I called the AAA direct number and I was told that the parking pass is given to AAA member upon purchase of AAA tickets (as long as they are 3+ days) without question or problem. The gentleman said it is supposed to be honored at ALL AAA branches, and if not you can call the main AAA number and complain..

Normally parking is 12 per car. The AAA parking pass allows AAA members to park closer to the park, in the handicapped area. Parking costs still must be paid, you just park closer.

NO free parking. It is best to contact YOUR specific AAA office for information about Disney perks and discounts.

Don't forget, if you stay on-site you still get free parking.

Also...arrive early since the AAA parking spots are limited! I found that the AAA spots didn't make you all that much closer and the trams that run in the regular lots are nice to ride. We didn't always use our pass and it was fine parking in the regular lot!
