Hiya
Just wondering whether anyone could tell me what one of these is? Is this something to do with AA in this country, Is this a discount for parking or give any privaliges?
Thanks
Ali

It is a parking pass that will give you access to a section of the lot nearest the entrance. You still have to pay for parking.

It is supposedly a perk for people booking their vacations with AAA but they are available (at a cost) from places like ebay

Has anyone here used one?
Do you get shown to the front of the parking lot?
Are there plenty of parking spaces?
Any catches?

We are just back and used one then - you show it when you car park kiosk and they tell you to follow a coloured line to the front of the car park.

The lots are next to the disabled lots so are close to the entrance of each park.

We found it good when going in first thing and leaving after fireworks etc because you didnt have to wai for the trams :)

How good it is depends on the park. at MK there is no tram service from the diamond lot so you have to walk under the bridge to the monorail, can be a fair distance. It seems to work best at EPCOT we found.

Thanks to both of you.

Another question. I have looked on Ebay and there seems to be a few passes available. One particular seller from Manchester has quite a lot at £6.99. However most of the UK sellers have passes without serial numbers on them. They look official but without the serial numbers which seem to be on the US sellers passes. THere are also passes in Black and white.

Are all of these valid?

BRobson - You said that you are just back and used one. Did your pass have a serial number on it?

I've been in touch with a seller in Cheshire who has multiple passes for sale (at auction, not "Buy it Now") and I believe she's genuine.

I have a colour one - bought on ebay from a US seller - there is a serial number on it?

.. if you check the terms & conditions of the vouchers (visible on the ebay pictures) they are non transferable & void if sold

You pays your money, you takes your chances ......

For less than $20 (about £10) I think it's worth a try. I bought one from the US with serial number on it and instructions about how best to use it.

I don't think that there is any way for them to tell it's been re-sold so it should be ok. I cannot imagine a Disney parking attendant vigourously checking them anyway, but I could be wrong?

They look nowhere near them - we just flashed ours when we paid and they tell you which coloured line to follow.

We bought one on ebay from US and took with us on our recent trip, we used it multiple times and even on days when we went to the parks late afternoon/evening, we used it and paked close to the entrance, and was brilliant if you stayed for a show/fireworks, did not catch any traffic when leaving the parks. Ours has a serial number on it. We would certainly do this again, we really felt that we benefitted from it.

If you have a AAA card, you may be able to get a diamond parking pass from your local office. My local office gave me one even though I did't book my trip through AAA.

Sorry I just noticed this was a UK board. I got to this post through a search. AAA offices are in the States.
