AAA codes QUESTION

I just received a mailing form AAA for NJ (my area) with 10.00 sign up fee waived. I would still have to pay the regular membership fee which is $48.00, I believe.

Is it a good deal to purchase this? Does Disney ever offer AAA members a special rate or is the AAA rate a better deal.
We will be in Dsiney for Xmas, but considering a summer trip as well, maybe hwen the rates go down a bit.

AAA members can get 10-20 percent discounts on rooms at disney. These are available almost all year, except for the last few weeks in Dec. We use the discount for every trip we make to disney. The membership also gets all kinds of other discounts at many other places. It can be well worth the membership fees.

Hmm...I just turned 50, wonder if AARP does anything with Disney.

AAA has room rate discounts. It also has packages which include the room discounts. You can book room only through Disney and get the AAA discount. If you want a AAA package, you must book through AAA.

AARP and Disney have announced that there will be some sort of perks for AARP members, but no one knows exactly what those will be, or whether there will be any discounts on rooms/packages.
