AAA and PhotoPass question

I'm a AAA member and did my Disney planning with them. I didn't realize, for some reason, that going threw AAA I got a card for the photoPass package. My issue is that I've already signed up for the PhotoPass + package and it seems I have 2 photo packages which clearly I don't need.

My question is just this, what can I or should I do about this? Can I return the PhotoPass +, get my money back and upgrade the normal PhotoPass to save some money? Should I just realize that I made a huge mistake, shake my head and go on?

My trip is in 3 weeks (WOOOO HOOOO) so I'm some what limited on time for this. TIA everyone.

Deep breath - you didn't do anything wrong!

The regular PhotoPass card doesn't cost anything. Disney sends them out free to everyone who is booked. It's exactly the same as the ones they hand you if they take your picture in the park. For people who don't have PP+ you can use it to get photos taken and buy the pictures or the full CD after the fact. (At a higher price, of course.)

Since you have PP+ you can toss it. Or you can take it with you as an extra card for getting regular PP pictures taken, in case your party splits up. It won't work for any of the extra PP+ benefits but you can use it for regular pics. If you do take it, remember to write down the number on the back in case you lose it. (And ignore the advice to register it before you leave. That just starts your edit clock ticking unnecessarily.)
