AAA and Free Disney Dining

Does anyone know if you book through AAA if you get an additional discount in additon to using the free dining offer?

Or if you just get free dining and it's just easier to book directly through Disney?

you would only get one discount, either free dinning or AAA discount, not both. If you use AAA then you would have to go through them for any changes etc. I like to book my own with disney directly, but that is just me.

that is correct we are aaa members and just booked during free dining , and we didn't receive the aaa discount just the free dining.

The past 2 times we went we got free dining and booked through AAA. It is true...no other discount. I liked AAA because our agent took care of eveything for me. We also got a few extra perks for booking with AAA. One was a parking pass and the other was a special storytime event with a character at the MK. Might have been a few other things but I can't remember.

If I book directly through Disney, can I give them my AAA membership number, or do you have to actually use a AAA agent to do everything for you? I'm getting close to booking (just waiting for Southwest flights to come out next week) and I would really like to do everything myself.

No. You cant. If you want the aaa perks then you have to book thru aaa. Disney wont take your aaa membership number over the phone. But you can book it yourself and then transfer the reservation to any travel agent. Including aaa. But if you do then the travel agent has the control of the ressie and not you.
