AAA and FD

I am booked through AAA and getting ready to add the dining plan tomorrow. My question is....IF they offer free dining during my time there, do I need to have AAA take care of the dining, or can I call Disney and have it switched to free dining?

OH NO!!! I sure hope she is good and answers the phone when I call...We are staying at POR and I know those go fast!

and if you have a discounted rate through AAA you will lose that rate if they add Free Dining (which would probably be a better deal anyway) - just wanted you to be aware.

Or you can call WDW direct and try and book the same vacation with them with free dining and cancel with AAA.

AAA has some perks that might be worth you booking through AAA - the diamond parking pass, story time, fireworks viewing. If you will use the perks then you may want to book with them. AAA owns the reservation, not you. Disney will not be willing to talk to you, they will only talk to AAA

I usually book through AAA I do call AAA when a deal like FD is posted, the agent has never been aware of it.

Thanks everyone....I spoke to my AAA travel agent the other day and told her I heard FD might be released next week, she assured me she would be on top of it and just asked me to call her as soon as I saw it released. Fingers Crossed!!
