AAA and disney resorts question

I have AAA. We already have Sun Nov 28-Dec 5 booked with disney with our Monster pin. It will be cheaper for us to fly in on Friday Nov 26th. Can I book room only for 2 nights with Disney and use a AAA discount? Or do I have to call AAA for that? TIA!

I was told last night that room only could be booked through disney with AAA discount, but if you want a package you have to go through AAA.
