AAA agent saying ADRs at 120 days now????

Someone I know is going to WDW at Christmas and was told by her AAA agent that she would make her ADRs for her at 120 days out so she needed to give her a list soon. I told her I wasn't sure this was true. I know you can make them 90 days out and starting Oct. 27th it is back to 180 days. Am I missing some info or is this agent clueless? We are also going at Christmas and I am not planning on calling until 90 days out.

I think the agent is clueless....unless some brand new announcement came out that we haven't heard yet.

Wonder if the agent has clients who drag their feet on things and now the agent bends the truth so s/he isn't scrambling at the end because the clients wait until the last minute. Sort of like when I tell my DH that we need to leave the house by 3 to be someplace and it's really more like 3:15-3:30 that we have to leave.

Starting sometime in October ADR's will be back to the old 180 days.

UPDATE: Last week, AllEars.Net reported that the booking window for dining reservations would change to 180 days prior to your arrival at Disney World, effective October 27. This change also includes reservations for tours and other recreation.

I am an independent TA and I just checked the TA dining res. website, it is still 90 days, that agent has no clue what she is talking about

It shouldn't affect a Christmas res anyway, since by 10/27 she will be well within the 90 day window and should have taken care of ADRs in Sept. when her window opens.

But, say, if you have Feb or March booked, then on 10/27 be ready to call or go online!
