Today's experience --
DH is a member of AARP.
Recently while reading AARP newsletter an article mentioned that Adidas outlets were giving AARP members 40% off thei prices!
We went to Adidas at Belz Mall 2 and were rather rudely told no way were they allowing 40% discount and they never heard of that.
(I told DH he should have brought along what he read.)
The discounts were also good at Rockport outlets.
We went to the Rockport store across from the mall.
We were told the 40% did not start to Monday and a coupon was needed.
DH did not see a coupon.
BUT the kicker was that today AAA members were allowed 40% off Rockport and Reebok shoes!
We bought three pairs!
And the clerk at Rockport rattled off a list of various memberships that they allowed discounts on -- from Disney employees to AAA.
So as a head's up -- if you are buying at any of the Belz outlet stores -- ask about discounts!
