AAA 2005 Diamond Parking voucher

Our trip is over and we enjoyed being able to use the Diamond Parking lots in the parks. If your trip is coming up before the end of this year, you are welcome to the voucher....I only have one.... just post here.

We are going in a few months....I won't need yours since we are doing the AAA thing too. But I was wondering how well it worked?? Are the spots close to the entrance? Did you have any problems with the lot being full? Were the lots easy to get to? We are staying at AKL and plan on driving to the parks, we will also have someone with us that can't walk great distances...just wondering if it would benefit us or not. THANKS for any advice!

I was wondering about the same thing as ncbyrne, is it worth it to use the AAA parking space?? Is in it easier to use the bus??

We are driving to Disney, but had not plan on using our car to go to the parks, even if we have the AAA parking pass.

The Diamond parking is the lot next to the handicapped lot. We always got to the parks first thing in the morning, so were able to get in the first row. We found it very convenient, but depending on when you get there, you will have a bit of a walk.

If it isn't already taken, we are going in late Nov- early Dec, and are even AAA members.

We are going the week after Thanksgiving and would love to be able to use it and pass it on for someone who is going after us - - if it is still available.

I tried to get it from our AAA office, but wasn't able to since we didn't book the package through them.

Well that sucks! LOL I was hoping ti was something AAA offered to their members for a fee without booking a trip through them. LOL I would pay to park up close as the tram is a pain at times. Oh well!

Actually might even be able to get a 2nd one to send out to someone, as we travelled with another family who also had one (non-disboard subscribers), but I'm sure they would be willing to help someone out.

We use the AAA diamond parking every time we go to WDW since we book our trip through them. We find it to be very convenient. Diamond card is also great for discounts at certain stores.

We got the parking pass in March when we ordered our park tickets through AAA. We used it once or twice, but we didn't find it really convenient because you do have to walk a bit. My dad isn't in the greatest health and so the walking wasn't very good for him. I think if you are traveling with a group of healthy people it's great, but if you have older people with you it's not worth it. Also, when you're exhausted at the end of the day, it's a hike to get back to the car.

mickeysaver, just put the AAA parking pass in the mail, per the PM you sent. Am only to glad to pass some pixie dust your way. Hope you can do the same for someone else someday, (if you have't already done so!)

Please note there are some blackout dates at several of the parks over the holiday period, so hopefully will be of use to you.

I know we certainly use it every time we visit the most magical place on earth!

rkmassa, Have spoke to our friends, and they still have the (2nd) AAA pass, so I will mail it to you if PM me your address (since you replied 2nd).

Alternatively, I also received a PM from MickeyMac. They are going to WDW 11/22 - 12/4, which I believe will be before you require it. If they promise to mail it to you once they are finished with it, would you mind if I sent it to them 1st? and you make the necessary arrangements with them (MickeyMac) to get it from them to you?

IMO the Pass is great @ DS and Epcot but not so great @ MK. The lot is a good hike to the Monorail and the Tram doesn't serve that area. You might be better off not using it at Mk.
