AAA 2 Park Annual Pass Deal

Hi all, Happy New Year!!

I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but if you are a AAA member (do not know if it applies to just the southern region) you can get the 2 Park Annual Pass for $109.95. Here is the quote from the site:

2 PARK ANNUAL PASS 11/01/2002 - 2/28/2003

To purchase the NEW pass at AAA for $109.95, the buyer MUST be a AAA member and show their AAA card. They may purchase tickets for family and friends and they do NOT need to be with them when the tickets are redeemed at the park.

I was just wondering if this pass is only good up until 2/28, as we are going in March? Also, is this the annual pass that gives you free parking and meal discounts?

After the 28th the deal is over, yes that pass gives you all the deals.

What I hate was I got my Annual Pass on 1-16-02 then the 1st week of March Universal has a deal Buy 1 year get the 2nd free. I asked could I get it, No! I loved that crap, 1 1/2 months later that deal came around. Then the person at Guest Services said alot of people complained they couldn't get the deal.

The promotion ends on 2/28, but the APs need to be activated by 4/1. Here's the information from the AAA website:

11/1/2002 - 2/28/2003 Valid for one year from date of redemption at Universal Orlando. The new passes must be redeemed and photo ID processed on the first visit to the park and no later than April 1, 2003. This pass includes park to park access (visit both parks in the same day). Parking is included, in-park food and merchandise discounts and CityWalk discount, special room rates at Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific.
