I purchased 5 tickets LGA to MCO for 11/2-11/7/05. I got a great price for them $145.40 (including taxes/fees). My DH is not real keen on driving down to NYC (about 3 hrs). I just noticed that Jet Blue is having a sale, we could fly using them (1hr drive to Syracuse) for about the same price as American out of NYC.
Here's my question, anyone ever able to secure a refund/credit from AA? If yes, how would I go about it, Call? I've read the rules of the tickets, and quite frankly it's a tad bit confusing.
DH and I are planning a trip to San Francisco next April, so I could use the credit for that. I would have a credit for $727. And from what I've seen most flights from East to West coast are in the $350 range. So right about at the break-even.
Can I use the credits from 5 people for 2 people?
TIA....I know that someone on this board has an answer or can lead me in the right direction for the answer!

But it can be as low as $25 because sometimes AA matches lower change fees that competitors have on the exact same route. The best way to find out how much it will cost you to cancel this flight and rebook another flight is to call AA.
