I guess this has been asked a few times.

Is it the same AAA, and if so what discounts are available and how can we get them

Yes you are correct its the same as AAA, I have never used it myself yet but as far as Im aware you look for the logo which is on the back of your AA card and show when you are paying and this will get you a discount. Someone with greater knowledge on this will hopefully answer better.

You don't get breakdown cover for rental cars but you do get benefits.
