I always carry two bars of soap with me on vacation. A travel size which I actually carry into park along with a hand towel. I know they have soap in the parks, but th are have been times where the companion restrooms haven't been serviced.

Antibacterial soap should be avoided for reasons already mentioned in this thread. I thought that was widely known and was surprised that the OP expected Disney to provide antibacterial soap as a matter of course.

The soap they leave for guests in boxes is a cleanser and will work just fine. It doesn't matter if it's labeled facial soap. It will clean any part of your body.

Agreed. I guess I'm surprised to learn that people still use antibacterial soap on their bodies. I can somewhat understand it's use on the hands depending on what you're doing, but there's even been calls to have it stopped for hand soap too. Causes a lot of bacterial resistance.

It only occurred to me because so many visit from overseas and knowing that the soap might not be the kind of soap they think it is might be more challenging. I have total respect. Didn’t mean to offend I just feel bad for people who don’t realize... Thinking of this bcs my DD and I are super into K-pop right now and I’ve been watching all the shows where they visit the US and face challenges related to the language barrier. We are BTS army all the way!
There is nothing for them to realize.

http://www.cleanerconfessions.com/news/antibacterial-vs-deodorant-soap-3213/ especially "There is a difference between the traditional deodorant soap and the so-called antibacterial soap. Although, they are both used for body hygiene, their cleaning properties are not quite the same.

American Cleaning Institute reports that deodorant soap’s main feature is fragrance. It is specially made to mask bad odours. When applying deodorant soap on body skin we just get rid of body odour. Beauty soap as it is also called, can deodorise and moisten your skin.
"
The "American Cleaning Institute" is a sales organization, not a health authority. They represent certain cleanser manufacturers. Also notice that the link you're quoting info from is a .com, which means it has a vested commercial interest in what it is claiming. That is not objective, scientifically-based information.

As I tell my kids all the time: you get what you get and you don't get upset. Or as elsa might say, if you don't need it, just let it go.

The OP asked about getting soap while at a Disney resort. Not for a series of lectures.

We’re done here.
