A Yachtsmen Steakhouse ?

DH and I ate there years ago for our anniversary and we had the best prime rib ever. We were looking to go back in May, but when I was looking at the menu online prime rib was not listed. Do they serve prime rib at all? If not where is the best place to order it? (We're not doing DDP if that matters).

I think several places have Prime Rib, but if you want it on par with what you had at Yachtsman, then Shula's is where I'd go.

The prime rib at Shula's is as big as your head ... I'm not kidding.

Another vote for Shula's. I wouldn't pay OOP at Yachtsman. I'm going there next week, but I am on DDP.

Had the prime rib for the first time at LeCellier last July and really liked it.

If I remember correctly Olivia's has prime rib and it is SOOOOOO good!!!!!! I'm pretty sure thats where I had the prime rib. I just remember that it was absolutely THE BEST meal we had the entire time. TONS better than Yatchmans!!! (and less expensive too!)

These are the places I really enjoyed the Prime Rib for several years :

Le Cellier, Yachtsmen, Turf Club, a hidden gem(SSR), Olivia's, it comes with yummy potatoes (OKW) and Shula's (but the price is real steep there)

Yachtsman's is MORE expensive than Shula's if anything.

At Yachtsmen you get a side with your cut of choice and at times also a veg. At Shula's if you want a side you must pay anywhere between $7.95 for a baked potato (that's 8 bucks for a potato) to $8.95 for asparagus! Shulas's is more expensive in the end, unless you live by "meat" alone!
