Does anyone know of a wrinkle cream that works. I have a smile line that is absolutely driving me crazy. I would love to find something that would diminish the appearance. I am almost 30 and I hate it!!!! Thanks Disers!

I love someting simple from WM. Olay Intensive Restoration treatment. It comes in a small black tube. Bought it for a single area and was so pleased started using it on other wrinkles. I use it combined with some Clinique products, but it is the best for spot applications, imo. It is +/- $17.00 a tube and lasts a long time.

If you have one wrinkle now before you are 30, it may be time to also start some preventative measures. I use the N.V. Perricone line of skincare. It is a bit pricey up front, but very concentrated and will last a while. I started with a try me kit from QVC, but you can also buy it at Sephora, Nordstroms, and some T-J Maxx stores.

I was just going to post this question as well! Something for the crow's feet (those wonderful wrinkles around the eyes!)

Kinerase use to be by RX only and now is over the counter. It is for acne but found to do wonders on wrinkles! BTW, it is very expensive about $75 but it is a huge tube that will last a year and it works.

I have been doing research on this very thing because I am also in the market for a good cream. What has come up in my research over and over again that seems to be effective is called Strivectin SD. It costs around $135 for 6 ounces. It was originally used to get rid of stretch marks, but has been very effective on facial wrinkles. You can google this and read reviews from users. If anyone reading this thread has used it, please post your results. I think I'm going to buy some. Ebay prices are cheaper than the retail places.

but luckily not a smoker or sun-worshipper, so just brought this up w/ dermo this summer.

She said retionol in evening and alpha-hydroxys (AHAs) in the AM. Neutrogena, Oil of Olay or ROC brands is what she suggested. ***ONE WARNING, though...you will have to look at EVERY stinking product & ingredients to find the moisturizers that have these EXACT ingredients. She said both will slough off old cells and encourage new cell growth, and the longer you use them, the better you will look. She mentioned retin-A by prescription...but that is $70/month, so I am trying the $12/bottle stuff first!!!!!

Good luck!

PS Daily sunscreen of 45+ is also essential to not making the wrinkles worse. Dermo suggested Neutrogena w/ helioplex as the best on the market

I LOVE the ROC products! I just got a sample from my Avon lady of their new Anew Ultimate Night Age Repair Cream. I've only been using it for about 5 days, so I don't notice a difference in the fine lines & wrinkles yet, but it has improved the overall feel & look of my skin tone. After 5 days of use, that's a winner to me. Just hoping the fine lines & wrinkles start to fade away too!

I LOVE the Arbonne products. I use the RE9 line. My husband use the Mens
RE9 line and loves it too!

I am reading this thread with interest.

I am feeling older these days and I think I am showing it too! Yuck!

Now, here is MY question......has anyone changed their diet to start looking younger and had it work? I know some women have looked fantastic after a few months of changing to a RAW foods diet.

Or Dr. Oz's Real Age Diet?

Any thoughts?

I am starting to get to the point of being willing to be more drastic.

Count me in as a Strivectin SD user. This cream is expensive but it really works. I noticed a major difference in about 3-5 days! I will not use anything else!!!!!:thumbsup2

That's good news. I read that people said Strivectin doesn't work. I've been wanting to try it. In 2008, I'll be 50. I have a few wrinkles-laugh lines, crows feet but the lines are shallow,so I'm hoping that something like this would work.

Plenty of water, no meat and Dr. Denese. Good Luck!

Hi!

I would HIGHLY recommend Ice Elements.

The Ice Elements line has a base of pharmaceutical grade aloe vera and a glyco protein called antarcticine which highly increases the amount of moisture that the skin holds as well as helping with collagen.

The line was developed by Shelly Maguire, a long time owner of several spas, who went into business in order to provide more people with great spa products that are easy enough to use at home. She is partnered with Frank Tedesco, a physical therapist and has an esthetician and fitness expert on site (on the websites message board located by clicking the message board tab at iceelements.com) for anyone to use.

Not only are the products incredible but the customer service is out of this world! In addition to the generous help by other consumers that frequent their message board that always seem eager to help, you can get personal service by either going to the board of your choice for Shelly, Frankie, Brenda, etc or you can call them and they will either answer personally or return your call, generally within a day.

I found this company a couple of years ago when I was seeking the perfect skin care for me... I ended up being directed to hsn.com which I was a bit leery of because I have never been into the television shopping shows and had honestly considered them to be a place that hawked a bunch of junk that looked good on tv but would never perform at home... Since the products were so highly recommended I did look into it and after seeing that hsn.com gives out a 30 day no questions asked guarantee on all products, including beauty products, I decided to go for it and ordered a big kit. Then I went over to their personal site and picked up the phone to inquire about a product that looked interesting that was offered as a sample on the site and was met by the nicest voice on the other end.

Seriously, Ice Elements has Disney like service...

Personally I can attest that the products have helped me immensely with the issues that I have and has helped other family members with other issues. I could go on forever because I just love this stuff so much!!!

I do not work for them at all. I just was really knocked off my feet by the care and service of a company in a day and age when it is often so difficult to find.

While I cannot promise that Ice Elements will work for everyone like it works for me, I would highly recommend that you consider visiting their website at http://iceelements.com and join the message board to speak with Shelly, Frankie or Brenda (or all 3) either on the board or by PM. Shelly is well known for working one on one with people to find the right product or products for them... Do not be afraid to say what you are using and what you like by product name and she will tell you which products may work well with what you are using and will discourage you from purchasing something from her that she doesn't think that you need... which I think is really cool. She isn't into sales at all... You also might want to call instead.. whatever is easier for you as she may have some questions as to your skin type and issues...

My favorite products that they have are the Anti-Aging Serum and their 2 Minute Miracle Exfoliation Gel.

I find the serum very hydrating for my dry type skin and it is great for both repair and prevention... The 2 minute miracle is a very gentle exfoliation process that works great for all skin types, even sensitive skin like mine. Exfoliating is something that my face was really missing until I found this because I found other products just too harsh for me.

I apologize for going on and on... It is one of those things that I am very passionate about. Skin care has never been easy for me and once I found these people I feel like I cannot say enough good things...

I do hope that you consider trying it. I am sure glad that I did!

I frequent fitness forums and one of the faves is Green Cream which is a retinol:

I just drink lots of water, use sunscreen every day, and rotate my moisturizer. For a month I will use RoC, then I will use L'Oreal, then Oil of Olay, and so on.

All4nuttin, you convinced me to try Ice elements. I wasn't too budget conscious though-I spent over 200.00 on their products.:rotfl: I'm almost 50, so I'm getting a little nervous about wrinkles.
