In my WW meeting on Saturday, our leader asked us to take stock and see if we lost weight in 2003. I have been pretty down on myself for not sticking with last year's resolution to lose weight. I had started WW in January 2003 at 199 lbs. I lost almost 30 lbs by March 2003. But, then I got the chicken pox, which developed into pneumonia. Shortly after I recovered (it took almost 6 weeks) DD got very sick. Then, we had our house fire and my miscarriage. Not making excuses, but the weight just piled back on.
So, when my leader asked about losing weight in 2003, immediately I pessimistically thought, yeah, but I put it right back on. However, it just hit me. I ended 2003 at 188.2 lbs. Yeah, I gained 20 lbs back, but still lost 10.8 lbs overall! So, taking 2003 in its totality - I was a loser!
Now, I'm 186.2 and back on track. Hopefully, 2004 will spare me from any major illnesses and tragedies, but even if it doesn't I know I can do this. I have WW and my friends at WISH to help me get through. Food is no longer my only friend and confidante.
Thanks for letter me share!

abd best wishes for a great 2004 for you, but I know you won't really need them! You're already back on track and rolling toward that finish line!!
