A Wish for Keira, our Pre Trip Report

We are definitely going to be bringing a double stroller. Since we have three kids that need a stroller. (We often put all three in the one stroller.) Even though Angelina uses a walker to get around and can go about 20 feet on her own her little brother Jude (who is 3) also has Spina Bifida and is just learning to use a walker... and then the baby Isabella is almost 1 and we will probably be walking but we will want to contain her! LOL I figure to the parks we will bring one walker and the double stroller. That way they have a few options on getting around.
I know that we can get a stroller at the parks but for GKTW and the parking lots etc. its so nice to have a stroller!

Another question about GKTW, is the La Di Da Spa always opened?

I know Keira will want to do this, and I was hoping when my friend visits that Keira and her 2 girls would be able to visit the spa together.

We will be at WDW 2/29 - 3/4!! Will keep an eye out and hope to see you there. I am planning on going to GKTW one day to drop off some donations - maybe schedule will line up to meet. Nice to meet other DISers. Just found out that MK will be open for 24 hours on 2/29 - perfect since we are flying in at noon and will have all day and night to enjoy the Magic.

Oh yeah, that would be fun! That's cool, 24 hours. The first time I went to MK was my grad night my senior year of high school and they opened the park up at 11pm for High School Seniors in the State of Florida. Pretty cool.

So excited for your trip!!

We don't live too far from WDW so we try to go often. My kids are 5 & 3. So we always take the double stroller. It's nice for them to rest/nap. And sometimes it's easier to get around pushing them then having their little legs keep up. It's also nice to store everything in the baskets.

On one of our last trips I took them by myself. I only took an umbrella stroller. The double gets hard to push when it gets crowded on Main Street. My DD walked all by herself and was fine. She was tired but she made it!
But I missed the extra storage from the double.

Can't wait to hear more about your upcoming trip!

DH does not want to take the stroller, but we agreed just to buy a cheap umbrella stroller for DTD. Coop can get a little wild. LOL!

We'll just go with the free one we get and hopefully we can swing a double, if not, they can take turns walking.

Keira's last day of chemo on December 29, 2011!

It has been pretty warm this January in Michigan, so we went to the Toledo Zoo a couple weekends ago.

And then tonight after Ballet, Keira just started taking ballet, I had to pull out my big camera and get a few shots of her posing. LOL! So dark though, I had to use my flash

And not to be out done, Coop also had to smile for a picture.

The pics are great - the last chemo pic is something to celebrate often!! The zoo pic is great - what adorable children! Glad you are having warm weather and able to get out to the zoo. It is so nice to have such a moderate winter. I'm ready for spring!! Hopefully it'll be nice and warm the end of Feb.!!
