Great update. Those pics are incredible. I'm really hoping that I'll get a chance to see the Christmas decorations and attend MVMCP next year.

It is great seeing Juliana having such a wonderful time. She looks like such a happy little girl. I'm sure she has her moments though.

Our itinerary for the day included breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Epcot, and MVMCP.

Before we knew it we were seeing this.

I LOVE seeing this sign... can't wait til I see it in just about a day and a half now

We got our picture taken with the infamous Mickey plate, then it was off to our table.

We asked our professional photographer, Juliana, to take our picture with Donald.

And she a terrific job!

I thought it was cool to have the Mickey 'Make a Wish' bubble behind us.

OK.. maybe not that great but Juliana was enjoying our first ride of the trip. (This is one of my favorite pics of the trip)

I love this picture!

We could feel the anticipation building and before we knew it we were riding over the park. I just love how you get a little tour before actually stepping foot in the park.

It was already 11:20 and we had limited time in Epcot. We didn't really have a plan so what would we do first? Find a bathroom. This was the first of many bathroom trips for Juliana. I think she used every bathroom in Epcot in the few short hours we were there.

We asked Juliana what she wanted to do first and her ride of choice was Soarin'. Off to The Land we went. With the GAC and the GKTW button, we didn't need any faspasses. Using our pass, we were able to get in the FP line.

EXCELLENT choice! I love Soarin'.

After finding Nemo, Bruce found Juliana!!

I'll bet he thought she was nummy too. Bruce found my Annie a couple of trips back too, and he definitely thought she was nummy!

We were walking through the giftshop and something caught Juliana's eye... it was a Squirt! Now if you remember, Juliana received a few gift cards from the Big Give and this was her first purchase. I don't think she let him go the whole time we were in Epcot.

That's kind of like my Annie on our Daddy-Daughter Adventure with her Lady!

... I did notice Cub Cool. We have never tried the different sodas from around the world before.

WHAT?!? REALLY?!? Wow.

We walked in and saw the soda machines. I tried a few which really weren't bad at all. Actually some tasted pretty good. I even snuck a little sip of the mother of all sodas: The Beverly! Before I tricked... I mean.. suggested to my wonderful wife to try the Beverly, I had to know for myself how bad it really was. It was bad but not horrible. Melody might of begged to differ.

Her reaction really isn't all that bad. I've seen many MUCH worse.

I love the watermelon flavored one from China... that's my favorite.

We signed in and the greeter asked Juliana what her favorite color was. She answered 'Pink!' and with a touch of a button, she turned the floor to pink. Juliana stood in amazement, then had to go check it out.

Very cool!

it was fun looking for someone at cosmic rays, at 5pm , who you never met before. good thing tim is a short guy and he stood on a chair so i could see him.

I love the castle any time but when the icicles are on there it is just breathtaking.

Uh-oh - sounds like you might leave MVMCP early. When we went, Jordan (my DD) fell asleep before the parade even started!

That's my method. When there are gaps between pics and purchases I have to put my thinking cap on......or make it up!

The time stamps on the pictures are what get me through!

Luvin your santa hat. The castle looks fab all lit up can't wait to see it myself if we go this year fingers and toes crossed! Luvin the pose of Juliana on her own in front of the castle as well!

I love the castle dreamlights, which is one of the reasons that I love going during the holidays.

I've seen pictures of it before we left but it was nothing like standing there looking at it.

I know exactly what you mean about seeing the castle for the first time when you go into the Magic Kingdom. There is a magical thing about it each time you see it. My parents said that they fell in love with Disney the same way that you did. It was when they took us for the first time, and I saw the castle. My mom says that memories don't get better than that.

I could probably be mad at my parents for never taking us (me, bro, & sis) but I think the meaning is so much deeper now.

Outing myself here as a lurker! I just wanted to say that this is the first wish TR that I have been able to bring myself to read since returning from Ali's wish trip back in April. It's complicated, so I'll just leave it at that, but thank you. You have a beautiful family. Prayers for your daughter's continued health, and I look forward to the rest of it!

I'm still trying to figure if it's going to be a nightly thing or not. I read that it is supposed to 'jump start' Wishes. But I haven't made my way over to see it yet.

I don't think they'll get rid of their fireworks show. They make their own fireworks so they've cut out the middle man. Plus everyone loves Disney fireworks, they can't get rid of it. And Wishes is so popular that I don't think they'll be getting rid of it soon.

I wasn't aware that Disney MADE their own fireworks... One of my trivia books says that they are the 2nd largest purchaser of explosives/fireworks in the country (may have even been world) after the US military. Making them as well, would be truly exceptional.

At least that's what I was told by a person I know pretty well that is working at Disney.

They may have purchased them in the past but I'm guessing in their efforts to save money, they opted to start making the fireworks themselves.
