A lifetime ago (well a few months) I posted on your PTR. Well, life kind of intervened, and I wasn’t on the DIS much at all. I’m so happy you had a great trip, Princess Juliana is as beautiful as ever – and a big congratulations to you all on your wonderful baby news. I think when he is born, you might be hearing him cry out …. "Go Yankees!!"

well you can be that creative, or um Mel can....buy her a Cricut Expression some disney cartridges, paper, adhesive....its a lot of fun, but quiet addicting!
would gladly help Mel spend some of your hard earned $$, she could make lots of great stuff! scrapbooks, cards, gifts...

I think I am more creative than Melody...

A cricut sounds good, but I don't want to spend $200+ on something that Melody will never use.

Melody is the breadwinner in this household... she will have to spend her own money!

humm.... I know we won't be traveling with a newborn. We saw a couple at the Poly that had a newborn- like a few weeks old- and Mel made a comment about it.

We had a busy 6 days and we didn't set an alarm for day 7. Juliana slept in- if you call 7:30 sleeping in! The plan was to head over to US/IOA.. would we make it there?

Juliana was ready to take a shower before breakfast.

We got ready and walked over to the Gingerbread house to eat. I'm pretty sure Juliana rode the carousel again too. After breakfast, we stopped in the Castle of Miracles to see what characters were visiting. We missed Sponge Bob but we did get to see Squidward.

Back to the room we went to complete our packing. When you go to GKTW, they tell you to bring an extra suitcase to bring home all the gifts you receive and believe me- you really do need it! We had so much stuff, we had a hard time fitting it all!

We were finally done packing and loaded up the car... it was 10:45am and we still had some very important things to finish before we left GKTW for our 5:45pm flight. We made the decision not to go to Universal and just hang out at GKTW for the morning/afternoon. (We did go to Universal last week.. stay tuned to see how that went.....)

Juliana wanted to play in the playground one last time...

We had to go to the House of Hearts to check out and we snapped a few pics on the way.

Ice Cream Palace....

Mmmmmmm...

There were other parts of the village that we didn't even see- like the Amberville Train Station. So we made our way over to check it out. Inside, is a HUGE model train setup. There are buttons that control all the trains, lights, amusement park, gondola, etc..

Outside of Amberville, is an actual train that goes around the building. Even though it was freezing out, we had to ride it at least once!

The train goes around the mini-golf course.

We had to stop in the Castle of Miracles so Juliana can get her custom made pillow.

And then she had to decorate her star so it could be placed on the ceiling with the thousands of other Wish stars.

We stopped at Katie's Kitchen to grab some lunch and went over to the Ice Cream Palace to eat.... of course we had some ice cream after lunch. We spoke with an older couple who were serving ice cream and they lived in CT for a while 1 town over from where we live. They have been in Florida for years and they volunteer at GKTW a few times a week.

GKTW has their own version of Candy Land and every Wish kid gets their own game to take home with them. We play it all the time. This is inside the Ice Cream Palace.

We walked back to the car and we couldn't believe Juliana's Wish trip was coming to an end. It was sad leaving the comforts of GKTW. It is truly an amazing and wonderful place. They do so much to make you feel like home and the volunteers were the nicest people you could ever meet.

That is so nice of you guys. I think kids have to be 11 or 12 before they can volunteer. I hope to go back there to volunteer too when Juliana gets older.

I think we got that from BBB. We try to get 2 days out if the hairstyle.
