Hey Wig,

Boy, were you right! Beach Club is awesome! Loved the area and being able to walk to epcot and DHS! SAB was fantastic. It will be hard for us to stay anywhere else now that we have experienced staying in the Epcot area. Mom had a good time. Low crowds and good food! We really enjoyed the CM character breakfast (great character interaction and food was good).

Hope to talk to you soon! Hope school is well! We go back tomorrow!

I'm not surprised AT ALL that you and Shocker took in those tiny baby squirrels. Way to go, though. As a kid I tried to doctor an injured young robin once. My mom let me keep it in a cardboard box on my bedroom floor. The bird was old enough to eat normal birdseed and I had a box of seed on my floor next to the box. Well, my darling little brother, who was about 3 at the time, went into my room when I was at school and dumped all of the birdseed in the little food dish. The problem was, the little robin was eating when he dumped the food in! I came home from school to check on my rescuee and found it with its little head buried under a pile of birdseed! I'm sure your experience will end much more happily. Do you have any pictures to post?

Thank you for the wonderful BC fix. We never made it into B & C, but it sure looks amazing. Hmm..what kind of mom would I be if I made everyone banana splits for dinner tonight? There are cherries and bananas involved, that's healthy enough, right?

I just knew you were going to love it there! They always say that's it's all about location and I'll say the Beach Club is in a great location!

I put some pictures up on fb, but thought I would wait a few days and get some when their eyes open to post on here.
I'll bet your little brother thought he was being such a helper when he buried that poor bird in bird seed....
I'm not sure how long we are going to be able to keep these little guys, a call to a wildlife rescue may be happening in the next few weeks!
You are totally right about Shocker, he has such a soft heart!

The Beach Club fix was my pleasure, it was a treat for me to relive being at that beautiful resort! I still haven't had my banana split and I've been hungry for one since that last update!

They are doing surprisingly well, given the fact that they are meant to be in the wild and we have them in a box in the kitchen, feeding them from a plastic syringe....
I really think something happened to their mom....

I'm okay today. Really sick of not being able to do much. I ended up going for two walks and watching movies and catching up on the DIS. No sewing but I did take it out, I hope to do something tomorrow.

I'm sending Skippyjon's cousins to stay with you, too. They try to live in our attic rent-free, and that's not cool with me at all. I don't mind them in the trees, and I don't mind them participating in free dining from our pear trees, but no living in the attic!

I have your bag. I got a mailing package this morning, so I'll get it out in the next few days. My cat thinks it is cool walking around on it because the bubble wrap makes noise. Right now he is sitting on it looking like a big dork!

I think it's great that you got out for a couple of walks and had some down time to DIS and watch movies. What is it that you are going to make when you feel up to sitting at the sewing machine?

I would not want them in my attic either! You might want to try to keep them in a box, in your kitchen, sitting on a heating pad.....
You will have to keep their cousins because I'm saying no more Skippys at this house!

Yesssss, the original Skippyjon is indeed a cat with an accent. I think that when I talk to the Skippys I will use that same accent......

If I weren't so claustrophobic, I would. Lucky for them I could never close them up in a box and ship them anywhere, even if it had holes in it!

Seriously, when I store my Christmas Chip and Dale and other stuffed animals, I store them in an open tub and put a towel over the top to keep the dust off. I can't even put a lid on my stuffed animals, so I could never do it to real ones!!!
