I am thinking of trying out for a american idol type competition in my town and was wondering if anybody knew where i could look to find just the background music with no words??

If you want the individual track, I would hit up iTunes. If you want a physical CD with just the one, I would look at a general music store like Marathon or Guitar Center rather than an record store like FYE. Still, I don't know if an individual track exists for that song.

I used to record and sing for a small Christian music business called The Acappella Company. They did a couple of wedding CD's a few years back that have a voice singing the lead and then also just the track so someone can sing it at your wedding.
