lol! It's such an awesome ride, but I can totally understand how it would freak people out. Even though it's not a free fall, it certainly feels like one. And it does seem to be more scary now to me as an adult than as a child! Funny how that happens.

Welcome! Thanks for tuning in. And thank you! Congratulations to your daughter! Good luck to her in special education. It takes a special person to go into that field :lovestruc

Loved this update! TSM is a great ride. :thumbsup2 I like it better that Buzz Lightyear! ToT ...:thumbsup2 RnR...:thumbsup2

Thanks! And yes, we liked TSM more than Buzz. I rode Buzz after TSM, and I was like..."Huh that's it?!" lol

Hi, again! Last time I left ya, we were wrapping up our fun morning in DHS.

I forgot to write in the last installment that we ran into these two guys on our way out.

I took those pictures for my little cousin, Alex, who absolutely loves Cars! When I babysat him sometime during winter, he had me play Rascal Flatt's Life is Highway over and over again while we danced. I love that little guy!

So anyway, after a short rest back at POP, we changed and headed back to DHS where we would meet up with my friends for dinner at PTC.

n72001134_31187779_5985125.jpg

Notice my Marilyn Monroe shirt. I figured it was appropriate for the 50s PTC :thumbsup2

When we first arrived, we used our FPs for TSM mania again. We really just fell in love with this ride.

I loved that you really feel like you're a small toy in Andy's room! It's awesome.

Our scores this time around. Still sad and pathetic :rotfl:

n72001134_31187786_4722436.jpg

After TSM, we went over to The Little Mermaid!!! YAY It had been a very long time since the last time I saw this show. It was really cute. I took a couple of videos of the show, but they got deleted so I could make room for Wishes on Friday. I loved the water effects from the show. It was just too cute.

It was getting closer to our reservation, so we met up with our friends and headed for dinner

4626_521647288211_72001134_31187788_2978820_n.jpg

Since we were early, we decided to grab a drink at the Tune in Lounge. I had this magically delicious concoction called a Magical Star Cocktail (I think?)

4626_521647298191_72001134_31187790_6349782_n.jpg

It comes with a glow cube, which is why it had that glow to it. I could go for one of these suckers right now actually. It was so good! Mom had a Maui Wowie.

n72001134_31187791_2113107.jpg

That was also tasty. Yum Yum. Our bartender, not sure what his name is, was very nice! I wouldn't have minded eating at the bar had I known we could do that.

Here we are waiting for dinner with our cocktails

4626_521647308171_72001134_31187792_8313508_n.jpg

Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. The hostess was an older lady, super nice. She sat us at our table and then the harassment...I mean 'show' started!

Our waiter's name was Biron... and oh boy, was he ever into his job! He was full on 100% into the act. Now most people I'm sure would have looooved this, as this is what most people go to PTC for. I was hoping we'd get a mild waiter, as I just went for the meatloaf. Oh Lord, we were in for it with this guy!

It started with drink orders. I ordered a water, and he says I'm cheap. I shot back, "Well, you don't want me ordering another one of these!" I say, pointing to the empty cocktail glass. Nothing. Not a smile, nada. All crickets. Allllrighty then!

I ordered the meatloaf, and others ordered the Roast and a steak. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was really good.

When Biron came to collect our plates, I had about 5 or 6 string beans or so left on my plate. So he starts doing the airplane noises, getting the attention of everyone in his section, etc etc and approaches my mouth with the spoon.

"Na I'm good!"

He tries again.

"Nope, really... I'm full."

Again with the noises.

"Dude really...you picked the wrong person!"

And that was it. Attempt failed  I wasn't trying to be a grump, but I was really not into it. I am one of those just let me blend in with the crowd kind of people, if you don't bother me I won't bother you. He was just doing the job, but he really picked the wrong person to bring along with him!

All joking aside, he was a nice guy and clearly loved his job, and you can't ask for anything more than that ;)

We ordered dessert. I got the brownie sundae and only took a few bites of it. This was the only meal I felt very full and almost sick from. Not sick as in the food was bad, but that sick feeling you get when you eat too much.

By the time dinner was over, the park was closed. When we got back to POP, the girls went to the pool bar. I was really so full I couldn't order anything. We wanted to walk to the bridge at POP, but it was downpouring pretty badly, so we called it a night. I headed back to the room and watched some of American Idol with mom. We both fell asleep before they announced who the winner was! I guess we were pretty tired.

Sorry this was sort of an uneventful update! The next installment will be better because... it's our first MK day!! :tinker:

Next up...
How was our first rope drop experience at MK?
What's that big bright, thing in the sky? Is that the sun????!
What did I see that totally captured my heart?

All up next time :wizard:

Hi there. Sorry for the delay. It stormed heavily this morning, and it's still looking gloomy out there, so there is no excuse not to update my TR!

So the next morning came and oh my goodness, mom almost didn't get up! She kept saying, "I cannot believe I'm up. I sware, I feel like I just laid down to go to sleep." Come on, mama. Up we go! We have a rope drop show to catch!

As mom was getting ready, I looked out the hotel window and noticed it wasn't raining just yet. The sky looked a bit unsettling, but it didn't look like rain yet. YAY!

We were on our way to the MK bus stop. There was a good amount of people in line. We got on the bus, and I was surprised to find it rather crowded. The bus driver made a stop at the Contemporary first, for any of those eating breakfast at that resort. A bunch of people got off there. Next up, MK.

We got dropped off at our stop and enjoyed the little walk to the front gate. This is when you really feel like your in the World, right? It's crazy how different you feel walking on MK's property.

We hung out towards the back but right in the center of the gate to wait for the show. I was personally so excited because I saw how adorable this show was on youtube. I don't know how we missed these shows all of the times we were out early?

It was finally showtime! Here's a picture of the dancers who put on the special "Good morning" show

4626_521647328131_72001134_31187795_1537713_n.jpg

Adorable show. If you weren't awake before the show, you certainly are now!

This is my first time attempting a video, so please be kind. I have no idea what will and will not work! Here is a video of MK counting down with a very lucky family to open the park!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN9Ob9IebyI

For some reason, I can't figure out how to post the video right here in the thread. For now, you can click on each video. Sorry for the extra hassle. If anyone knows how to do this, please feel free to share your knowledge!

Once the show was over, we were allowed through. We went to the left. For those who are interested, we didn't notice a big difference in who goes to the right and who goes to the left. It seemed fairly even to be honest.

We rounded the corner and there it was...

4626_521647333121_72001134_31187796_5018373_n.jpg

I don't care how many times you've been there. This is the reason people come back over and over!

You can notice in this picture, too, that it looks like there were actual pretty clouds in the sky, not storm clouds!

Here are some more pictures from our initial entrance

I told mom I wanted her to ride Peter Pan right away. She doesn't remember ever going on it, and I think it's such a magical ride. And a side story to go with it...

One of my best friends since I was in kindergarten died of complications from a brain aneurysm the beginning of my senior year of HS. That was in 2004. Her favorite Disney movie, and it might have even been her favorite movie of all time, was Peter Pan. She just loved everything about it...Peter, the concept, Tink...everything. At her funeral, we even quoted Tink from Hook (I think it was hook) , "You know that place between sleep and awake? That place where you still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you."

Needless to say, this ride is very special to me because she died before she got the chance to go on her senior trip, so she never saw the ride. I got very teary eyed riding this first thing in the morning, but it was amazing. I hope they never get rid of it

4626_521647358071_72001134_31187801_4643474_n.jpg

Okay, enough sad stuff!

Next on the list for mom to see was this

4626_521647363061_72001134_31187802_578460_n.jpg

I saw it for the first time during my senior trip, and my friends and I fell in love. It is all the best Disney movies from my generation! My mom absolutely loved it. It became one of her favorite attractions from the whole trip. Highly recommended.

LOVE Donald!

If it seems like we are getting through these rides fast, it was because we did! We walked on everything thus far including The Haunted Mansion.

Not only did we walk right on...we were the only two foolish mortals in the whole dang ride! It was hysterical to hear the recording talk about stepping all the way inside to make room for everyone. What everyone? There was no one else besides the creepy CM!

My mother was ready to kill me after this ride. Let me tell you, it's all fun and games and big laughs when you ride this attraction with a bunch of other people. When it's just you and your mother who is pinching you because she is so scared, it's no walk in the park!!! It was genuinely scary :scared1:

We also met up with our friends and did this

4626_521647378031_72001134_31187805_6837858_n.jpg

ARGGH! pirate:

Um...I don't remember the drop from senior trip? That woke me up!

4626_521647383021_72001134_31187806_2034972_n.jpg

This was my first time seeing the Johnny Depp and other movie editions. He looks SO stinkin' real! It was creepy. Classic ride.

Next we made our way over to the other side for this ride

4626_521647393001_72001134_31187808_2820274_n.jpg

I took that picture specifically for the boyfriend, who on his senior trip, bought a POSTER SIZE picture of him and his friends playing this ride. He's a 21 year old trapped in a 7 year old's body. I love it :lmao:

Here's another shot

4626_521647397991_72001134_31187809_3969030_n.jpg

We liked this ride but not as much as TSM...probably because this was more difficult! lol It was fun, though. When we got out, we saw Buzz!

4626_521647402981_72001134_31187810_841771_n.jpg

I'm such a cheater. I wait until no kids have walked up the character and snap the picture from a side angle :rotfl2:

We decided we were hungry so I told mom about the Cream Cheese Pretzels at the Launching Pad. Yummy. Breakfast of Champions right there! The funny thing is, we can get pretzels just like those anytime at a store called WaWa. They sell these, and they taste the same, but it's totally different being in MK and eating one!

After our breakfast, we did the Carousel of Progress. I don't ever remember seeing this attraction, so I just had to. Adorable. Love the song, love the concept.

Met back up with our friends for

4626_521647407971_72001134_31187811_7733886_n.jpg

We went to Minnie's House

4626_521647412961_72001134_31187812_5235745_n.jpg

Then we stood in line to meet Princesses because well every girl is a Princess at WDW!

Sidenote about Belle...she is one of the most gorgeous Princesses we have ever seen! We couldn't stop talking about how pretty this girl was.

4626_521647432921_72001134_31187816_2404074_n.jpg

I will stop here for now, otherwise this post will get too long. Many more pics and videos coming up next!

(continued)

Next we were off to...

4626_521647442901_72001134_31187818_790514_n.jpg

We stood in line for less than a half hour. It was so cute in that tent. I don't think I ever did that before.

It was our turn, the oldest in the line, mind you, but we didn't care. I mean...just look how cute they are!

4626_521647447891_72001134_31187819_6332211_n.jpg

Look at Mickey...just look at him. He's so darn cute!

The line to meet my girl ,Ariel, was WAY too long, so I snapped this instead

4626_521647452881_72001134_31187820_6879435_n.jpg

"I wanna be where the people are. I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'...strolling along...."

I'll stop there. You don't want to hear me sing :scared1:

Mom and I had lunch at Cosmic Ray's. She had a burger, and I had a chicken Ceasar Salad. Both were decent. It was crowded in there, but definitely big enough to hold a lot of people.

Next up, we walked around the Castle.

4626_521647457871_72001134_31187821_8158853_n.jpg

4626_521647462861_72001134_31187822_3660219_n.jpg

We took a peak in Tinkerbell's Treasures, and as we're walking around, I overhear a little girl tell two CMs that it's her birthday. She asks if she can say hi to Tinkerbell.

Oh my goodness, I know what they're going to do!

I pull my two friends over to the counter so they can see, and I whip out my camera. (The reason my videos aren't the best quality is because they were from my regular digital camera, using the video button, so I apologize!)

That's when the cutest thing happened!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJSzuOnMiR8

The girl gasping and saying "aww" is one of my best girlfriends. Tinkerbell is her favorite. It was such a cute moment!! That male CM was the sweetest. I am so glad I got to witness that pixie dust moment!

We we walked away from the castle, we saw these gals making a scene

4626_521647467851_72001134_31187823_3148156_n.jpg

Hilarious! One of the sisters got put in time out while we were watching.

That was the end of our morning and afternoon at MK. It was awesome. We walked on everything without waiting, AND the sun was shining! It was the only day we got true sun.

Also, I should have taken a picture of this. We walked back to the bus stop for POP, which was the furthest away, and I kid you not, the minute we got there (we were the first ones in line) it started down pouring like I had never seen before! It was unbelievable. Next thing we know, all these other people are running to the bus stop. We made it, literally, just in time! I sware, even though it rained on our trip, we were blessed in other little ways.

Next up, our INCREDIBLE dinner (and view) at the California Grill. I can *still* taste the delicious wine in my mouth. YUM!

OK D-----did you set out to make me cry like a baby?? :confused3

First...I haven't been ignoring your updates, really! I just seemed to have missed a few. Back now though!'

The cocktails at PTC look yummy! Sorry you weren't "into" the playfulness of your waiter....I don't remember ours being so into his job when we were there in 1992....but that was a LONG time ago!

Love the video of the MK rope drop show. We saw it for the first time this trip. Watching it made me cry!

Then...you tell the PP story! Now I'm really teary!

And last....TinkerBell! What are you trying to do to me!? I must be an emotional mess today, because your posts sent me over the edge!

So glad you finally got some sun and made it onto the bus before the rain! NICE!

I'll try to be more prompt with my responses from now on...I hate missing stuff! :goodvibes

Oh Missy don't be silly! That has happened to me. I miss threads that I sware weren't there the last time I looked ha.

Sorry for the tears! After I wrote the update I thought, "Well that was kinda sad..." My bad! I think that might be the last teary update...except for, of course, the last night there because that is always sad!

Figured I would update again today since the rest of our day 3 took place in one location...

4626_521647477831_72001134_31187825_5643323_n.jpg

This was our first time dining here. A former cooperating teaching from a field experience I did in college first told me about CG. She said it was her favorite place to eat in the World because the food was very good and the view was beautiful. With that in mind, mom made reservations for 7:45. We could have a great meal and catch the 9pm showing of Wishes.

We checked in on the appropriate floor for a reservation of 7:15. Yes, you read that correctly. Mom talked all night about how we had to be there for a 7:15 reservation. Me, being the obsessive planner and holder of the "Disney Trip Journal" didn't even think to double check the reservation time in my planner. I just went right along with mom.

Woopsie :sad2:

It was no big deal, though. They took us at 7:15 anyway. At first I was very nervous because I figured that would mean we'd be done eating even faster and then we would perhaps have a problem viewing Wishes.

Well, when we went upstairs and were shown to our seats. All worrying went right out the window. This window to be exact...

4626_521647472841_72001134_31187824_1394022_n.jpg

You mean...this is our view for the evening?! :faint:

I could not believe we were seated earlier than our ADR because of our own mistake, and this is the view we got. Unreal. It must have been meant to be.

Our server was Bill. I cannot recommend him enough. He was fabulous. He told us he was the only certified somalier (sp?) in the restaurant and, "Do you like wine?"

Do we like wine? We're Italian, are you kidding?!

He asked us what kind of wines and tastes we liked, and he brought us glasses based upon that. He brought out one for me that he just knew I'd love and two for my mom to taste.

As I said before, I can still taste the wine he suggested in my mouth. It was a Riesling that was chilled and sort of bubbly and delicious! He even explained some of the science behind why I might have a horrible headache hangover the next day after drinking White Zinfindel. What? That never happened to me... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Then he even told me to take the wine list home with me and wrote down the price I should pay, max, if I find it in the regular liquor store. He was awesome! Mom enjoyed both samples of her wine and was very happy with her choice. It was some sort of California red. I know, what a specific description!

Onto the food. We ordered two apps to share: a vegetable salad of some sort and the goat cheese ravioli. DELISH to both.

Mom ordered the steak for her main course, and I ordered the pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta. Now, I am not a huge pork eater, but I figured this would be a good place to get it, and I am a sucker for good polenta. Did I mention the Italian thing?

Oh...my...GOODNESS :worship: I am already thinking about my next trip there. That's all I have to say. It was wonderful.

For dessert, we shared the no sugar added trio of desserts. We were too full to share two different desserts. Mom had coffee, thinking since it was a nicer restaurant, maybe they served better coffee?

:lmao: Her reaction was funny. She looked like a child who lost her dog!

This was such a fun and memorable night. Wishes was beautiful. They lower the lights and pipe in the music. What a view. It's definitely not the same as being in the park, but I don't think I could choose what I liked better. I'd say they are both very different experiences. If this makes a difference, I cried when I viewed Wishes from the park and didn't cry when I viewed it from CG.

Loved everything about this place. Bill did a great job and pacing our meal perfectly. We never mentioned anything about wanting to view Wishes, and everything was still brought out in perfect timing.

We also lucked out because it could have poured that night and then we would never have been able to see the show. Thankfully, another sprinkling of pixie dust pixiedust:

Up next...
Our adventure in the Poly for Tonga Toast
The Poly's RIDICULOUSLY good cup of coffee
Back to Epcot for new rides, food, and an adult beverage from France ;)

Thanks for reading princess:

Hello all! I had all intentions to update this trip report more often, but these past few weeks have been so busy! My summer job had me working 2 10 hour days this week, I've been applying for jobs, and the most exciting of all... my college roommate/friend from HS/bff got engaged last month and set a wedding date for this November! So needless to say I have been brainstorming and trying to plan her wedding shower, as well as help her with anything she needs! First time as Maid of Honor, and it's exciting! But anyway, I digress...

So here we are at Day 4! We knew what this day was... Tonga Toast day! I told mom about it during the planning phase, and we both decided we needed to try it during our stay. I liked the idea of using a QS credit at Captain Cooks instead of a TS at Kona, so that's what we did.

We met up with our friends, as it was their last day, and took the bus to the MK then the monorail to the Poly. I just love the Poly. I hadn't been there in such a long time, and it's just beautiful! Here is a picture I took of the lobby

4626_521647507771_72001134_31187831_5552246_n.jpg

Would love to stay here one day!

We made our way to Captain Cooks and wowwww it was a bit slow! You order on a touch screen, which we found simple, but the actual check out line was very slow. We all kept joking about how they wouldn't last working in POP's busy food court :lmao:

We got our buzzer and grabbed a table. A few minutes later it was ready. Mom and I shared the toast, as we were still rather full from our dinner at the CG, believe it or not! It was very yummy. It is perfect to split with someone when you don't want a lot of food in the morning, or if you're not a fan of sugar for breakfast! Very good though and worth trying at least once.

We made our way back to the monorail and said goodbye to my friends. I wished them a safe flight and to let me know when they got home safely. Mom and I made our way to Epcot via the monorail.

We got there later in the morning, and I thought that perhaps all of the fast passes would be gone. We checked the ride and lo and behold, there were FPs left! YAY. we grabbed them and walked around the countries for a bit.

We decided we weren't going to eat an actual lunch, but we'd snack instead. Or at least I would snack ;) I had a Grand Marnier Slush, and ma had a Gregy Goosh Slush. YUM on both counts. Delicious. We walked around some more and bought gifts in the UK for the boyfriend and my dad. Both guys got Beatles memorabilia.I was very happy with our purchases.

When we got to Germany, I bought a pretzel. It tasted like butter! It was very good.

The weather was cloudy and humid, but at this point we didn't have storms yet. It was a nice day, just walking around and looking in all the shops. It was probably the most laid back day we had during our vacation.

We headed back to the area where the rides are since our FP were coming up soon. We decided to ride Nemo before Soarin'. This was adorable! I loved it. The little clam shells you ride in are too cute. The queue is really long and looks like it holds a lot of people, but we walked right on. I love how dark it is in there! Makes you really feel like you're under the sea.

After Nemo, we headed to Soarin'. Even though we had fast passes, we still waited. This might have had the second longest wait time for us right behind TSM. No biggie, though. We were taking it easy that day.

I was pretty nervous about riding Soarin' because I had never been on it before, and I knew it was sort of like an IMAX type experience. I saw an IMAX film once when I was younger, and I got such bad motion sickness that I had to leave the theatre midway through. I could hardly walk down the steps to leave it was that bad. I will never forget that feeling. So yes, I was quite skeptical that I would be able to make it on this ride without having a protein spill!

We boarded the ride, and I was a bit shakey. I was nervous my shoes, purse, and hat would fall out of the baskets for some reason! It was probably just the motion sickness fear kicking in. I was fine, however! What an awesome ride. It was a first for both myself and mom. We really enjoyed it. It's quite a different experience from anything else. Can't wait to do it again :goodvibes

After Soarin' we headed back to the room. We had a dinner for Mama Melrose that night, and Iwas looking forward to seeing Fantasmic for the first time! Would I see it though? You'll have to wait for the next update (which should be very soon, maybe even today!)

Sorry for the lack of pictures in this installment. We didn't really take any on this day.

Hi D!

First..how fun to plan a shower and do all the Maid of Honor stuff! YAY! Should be a fun summer!

Congrats on being able to ride Soarin'. I get very motion sick as well, but Soarin' doesn't bother me at all! Woo-Hoo! It's such a great ride! :woohoo:

Can't wait to hear about Fantasmic! LOVE THAT SHOW!

(Oh...and so glad the rain held off!)

It's good to hear that other people that get motion sick have been able to ride Soarin. That gives me hope!

Hi, Missy! The plans are coming along. Got the dresses, got a place for the shower...now the planning can really start. We're excited!

Soarin' was such a cool experience! Excited to do that one again.

I'm sure you'll be fine! I figured if it really bothered me, I could close my eyes! Try it :thumbsup2

Ugh, I swore I was writing this next installment sooner! Life is getting in the way :lmao:

Back to DHS we were! We had dinner reservations for Mama Melrose's. Before waiting for our bus, I took mom's picture with her birth year.

Since I'm an 80s baby, and we were staying in the 50s building, we decided we'd walk over to see mine the next day. So cute these signs are!

We got to DHS and headed straight for the restaurant.

We checked in and waited around 15 20 minutes. Not too bad. They had a pretty nice crowd in there! It's a cute little restaurant, one we hadn't tried before, like most on this trip.

We had Maria as our server. She was very nice. I ordered Chicken Parm and mom ordered the Penne a la Vodka. We also ordered a half carafe of their sangria.

:worship: Wish we would have ordered the full! This stuff was great. Here we are waiting for our meal.

As you can see, I was able to wear my hair down! WOO HOO  I was happy to finally take my ball cap off!

Our food came, and boy did we enjoy it. The chicken parm was very good, better than I expected. I can't comment on the macaroni, though, because I didn't eat it. Mom loved her penne a la vodka, which is saying a lot because I make a pretty dang good penne a la vodka, if I do say so myself.

For dessert mom got tiramisu, her favorite, and I ordered vanilla gelato. I wouldn't call it real gelato, but it was tasy nonetheless! Mom enjoyed her dessert, as well.

We headed straight for Fantasmic after dinner. We only stood in line for three minutes before it started moving. :cheer2: I was so excited to see this show.

We got into the theater and found what I considered good seats. We did sit in the back, but that was by choice. I'd rather be towards the back on an aisle. I'm not one for climbing through people, and I have a fear of bleachers. Silly, I know.

While we were waiting, we took a picture.

So we are sitting there, and I hear the announcer come over the speaker telling people to lower their umbrellas and whatnot. 'hmm' I thought. It wasn't raining at this point, but the sky looked nasty. We opted to not bring our ponchos with us this time we went out because quite honestly, we had had it with those dang things. I mean really, try carrying it around with you all day everyday for four days, taking it on and off during every single ride and you'll get sick of it pretty quickly, too! I thought we were being major troopers this whole time, but I really had had enough with those stupid things at this point.

So, yes, the only thing we had to save us from the rain was our trusty, polka-dotted Totes umbrella.

More waiting...

And then it started...

Rain drops. Nothing big. Just a little sprinkle here and there.

More waiting...

More rain drops...

Nothing too major, yet.

More waiting...

Faster rain drops...

People around us start breaking out the ponchos.

I look at my mom. 'No big deal,' I say. 'We'll live.'

More waiting...

Even faster rain drops...

Loud speaker comes on, "Please lower your umbrella."

'That's it,' I say 'We're outta here!'

And that was it. The one freakin' time we don't bring out the Godforesaken ponchos, it decides to rain as we are waiting for the show. Now, looking back, we should have known, considering it was the most it had rained in Florida that week like...ever! But no, I was stubborn and was sick of looking at that plastic thing. Not to mention, it kept ripping down the center every time I put it on. Those things are clearly not meant to be worn or last through an entire week's worth of rain.

As we were walking out of the theater a cast member stops us, asking if we planned on coming back into the theater.

"No," I said. "If we can't use our umbrellas, we can't stay."

Now, I should clarify. I would NEVER sit on the bleachers with the umbrella and block other people's views. How rude. I fully intended on standing in the back of the stadium with it, this way we could stay dry and still see the show. But it seemed like we couldn't even do that. Thus, our exit.

No show is worth being completely drenched from head to toe...especially if there is a chance that the show would be canceled.

You think Maleficent is scary? I would have went OFF if that would have happened!

We decided to ride some more rides instead. It worked out well anyway. We were able to stay dry from the downpours, and we got to see the park rather deserted, considering most people were in the stadium.

Here's a creepy picture I took

Wouldn't it be awesome if all hotels still looked like that? :cloud9: Sounds crazy, I know, but I love it. Play me some Glen Miller 'Moonlight Serenade' and a vintage dress from the 1940s, and I'm good to go!

Some more pictures

We decided to stand in the stand by line for Toy Story. The fast passes were all distributed, but what else were we going to do? To the line we went!

The wait time said 40 minutes, but we waited about 30 I'd say. We were in line with just about the CUTEST family ever! Young mom and dad and three kids, one girl two boys. The oldest boy was a toddler, and the cutest little thing! Dad did not look happy with his behavior, but hey I've worked with kids for forever, I love them! And the baby kept flirting with me as his dad held him. Mom and I didn't mind waiting in the line because the kids kept us entertained. Mom took a sweet family picture for them. They were really the most adorable family.

Here are some stand by line pics

It turned out to be a nice night, despite not being able to see Fantasmic. One of these trips I will. Hopefully on the honeymoon. I keep saying the boyfriend and I will go there on our honeymoon, so I really hope it happens because it's already planned out in my mind! He is not too thrilled about arriving at rope drop to all the parks, though. Oh well. I have a long time to convince him, considering we're not even engaged yet!

Up next...
BAckstage Magic Tour day!
Last day at the park. Would we cry in the MK during Wishes? (oh come on..you know us by now!)
