A "We Got a New Disney Store!" Trip Report

Sadly, my next trip to Disney World is at least a year away. Maybe longer. But we did have some good news this week. After two years of not having a local Disney Store, a new one opened in the upscale mall complete with all the bells and whistles.

So, until I can make my way back to "the world", this Disney Store trip report will have to suffice.

And yes, it's probably longer and more detailed than a lot of Disney World trip reports...

Nice report! I'm in the Cincinnati area as well and went to Kenwood Mall on Saturday just for the Disney Store. I was impressed with it! Did you notice the pictures of the Cincinnati landmarks on the tops of the walls and the characters in front of them? My favorite was Beauty and the Beast in front of Union Terminal.

Oh, by the way, another Disney Store is opening today (9/7) in the Cincinnati Premium Outlet Mall in Monroe. 2 stores within what, 30 miles of each other? We've hit the jackpot!!

I did not notice the pics. I'm going to have to check that out next time. I was basically wildly clicking pictures while trying to keep track of the kids.

I plan to go back this Sat. They will be having an opening ceremony along with meet and greets with Mickey and Goofy. So, I'll look for the pictures then.

I was at the ribbon cutting this morning for the outlet store at Cincy Premium Outlets! I was about the 30th person in line. The CMs were asking trivia questions and passing out keychains and magnets for correct answers. They picked a family with two little kids to cut the ribbon and then they opened up the store. It is a GREAT space. They had technical difficulties with their registers so they had to handwrite all of the receipts. It took FOREVER to get through the checkout line, but it was totally worth it. I got tons of items for our trip next month. I have a feeling I will be in that store all the time.

Wish I could have been there. I am debating going for the grand opening ceremony on 09/17. In fact, I may hit the Kenwood opening ceremony this Sat and the Outlets ceremony next Sat.

I've already made the trip to Kenwood twice for the Disney store -- and I live about an hour away. I absolutely love it
