A WDW Vet's First Trip to Disneyland: A Review

We wanted to ride RSR at night once, so I just kept checking the FP return times on the app, and once it got to nighttime passes, I walked over from DL and grabbed FPs and walked right back to DL.

Curious, which app were you using to check return times. The Disneyland app or something else?

Enjoyed your trip report. We were supposed to go to DLR this summer, but military life happened. We'll be heading to DLR next summer for the first time.

We did and I meant to write about this and forgot. We rode it first thing on a morning where DCA had Magic Morning entry. IIRC, my wife went to get Space Mountain FPs, I signed our daughter up for Jedi Training, and then we walked over. We were on the first boat, and it took about 25 minutes in total since it's a decently long ride. I think either first thing in the morning or very late at night is the way to go. Since the load times are so bad with this ride it seems to constantly be at 45-60 minutes wait during the day (and then add another 20 for the actual ride). We figured that it was better to lose 30 minutes first thing in the morning then 60+ later in the day. We were still able to take advantage of the short lines in the morning afterwards.

Thanks! We have 5 day passes, and I think we will ride Nemo first thing in the morning on one of those days.

The Disneyland App has wait times and Fastpass return times so if you want to go grab a fastpass you'll know when your comeback time is for.
