I just got back from WDW and Florida on Sunday, and I had to tell
everyone this story Its kind of long But its worth reading.
Me, My Wife, 3 sons and our Daughter went to WDW over MLK weekend,
and I booked the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the MK on Monday
Morning (Jan 19) for my 3 1/2 year old daughter (my Princess). We
had a 8:30am appointment which we got there at 8am and they took us
right away and started with the picking out the dress (she chose
Cinderella) shoes, wand, hairstyle, etc. After they were
done "Transforming" Her, we were off accross the hall for our
Ressies at Cinderellas Royal Table for breakfast. We waited on line
to get our picture taken with Cinderella, one pose with her and my
Daughter, and one pose of her with all six of us. We went upstairs
to eat and meet 4 of Cinderellas Friends: Jasmine, Snow White,
Sleeping Beauty and Belle, took pics and spoke with them. After we
ate, they came to the table with two complimentary pictures nicely
framed in a folder each with a picture of the castle beside it, and
4-4x6 photos underneath.
My Daughter was in heaven, to say the Least, and so Was I (maybe
even more than her
).
Anyway, we drove down to Miami for a few days to meet my parents as
well as my wifes parents (they are both snow birds and live near
each other) and of course we were showing everone the pictures, and
I mean EVERYONE.
Ok, now we'll fast forward to This past Sunday, we flew home,
unpacked everything and cannot find the pictures anywhere. I call my
mom and mom-in-law and ask them to search the apartments. but they
tell me that they dont see them anywhere.
I start panicking, but then realize that theres nothing to worry
about, we used Disney's photopass service, Ill just buy them. Well I
go to the site and those pictures arent there, only to remember that
they said "we don't put these on the photopass" when we took the
photos with Cinderella. Ok, if you never saw a grown man cry, you
should've been been with me at that moment, tears literally rolling
down my cheeks.
Then today, I figured Id call 407-WDW-DINE (the dining ressie
number) and see if they can help, only thinking that they couldnt do
anything 1 week later. Well, they switched me to the main
switchboard who then transfered me to Cinderellas Royal Table, and
within 15 minutes, and alot of desrcibing by me of who was wearing
what in the pictures we took and a whole lot of searching through
thumnails of pictures by them, THEY FOUND THE PHOTOS, BOTH OF THEM.
And to top it off THEY ARE SENDING THEM IN THE SAME TYPE OF
BEAUTIFUL FOLDERS FOR FREE
. If I could have, I would have jumped
through the phone and hugged the lady that was helping me. I told
her that when people talk about Magical Moments, THIS IS WHAT THEY
MEAN and that this one tops them all.
Sorry for the long post, but I had to share this with everyone.
