We had a horrific incident here in the NYC area this week. A young college couple were stuck, the girl got out of the car and instantly collapsed. The boyfriend also jumped out to help her. What neither of them knew was that a power line was also in the water. They were both electrocuted. It was very sad but one of those instances where you don't stop and think about the situation. The experts recommend staying in the vehicle and avoiding touching any metal or the frame. The tires will act as insulators.
